One Steam tag should be sufficient!

War of the Chosen

NOT war of the chosen!
NOT WotC!

@xXxNaRuTo-69xXx

How strange. Hm...
Perhaps try installing some other mods that add arms? I've never had this issue nor heard of it from anyone else (if memory serves), but I imagine if you get some other mods that add options there maybe stuff will show up.

Also perhaps try verifying your XCOM 2 install (right click it in library->properties->local files->verify). I'm doubtful that'd help, but it's not impossible, I think.

@Derejin hey, thanks you for answering this fast.

I've checked it and I subscribed to everything correctly.

Although, when I run the game with the mods I have in the arm section 1 option available which is just invisible arms (with the mods turned off I do not have this option).

Also, shoulders are not accessible
jose 13 dec. 2020 la 6:24
Armour looks sick but I've got a problem with the arms. I can put any armour or Helmet but it looks like arms or shoulder are not available
Derejin  [autor] 2 nov. 2020 la 14:00
Thank you: glad you like the mod!
Glângeil⚪ 2 nov. 2020 la 5:35
@Derejin thx a lot .. Also great job :)
Derejin  [autor] 1 nov. 2020 la 15:07
Glangeil:

Check the description: the helmet's a part of a separate mod listed in the description. :)
Glângeil⚪ 1 nov. 2020 la 9:17
Dont know why but i cant put on helmet : /
Derejin  [autor] 8 iul. 2020 la 9:35
@Chiron
Thank you!

I'm not the best modeler in the world, but probably done with this project for the moment. Hope you still like it, though!
Chiron 17 iun. 2020 la 22:39
looks great, especially the cape added! but all due respect, torso seems quite simple and i think it needs more detailed on the surface or texture whatever :)
Derejin  [autor] 21 nov. 2019 la 7:52
Want to note: someone recently commented (very angrily, might I add!) that they could not remove their shoulders on one of their units.

If they had read the description, they would easily see that there are mods to fix this and I did not include that functionality in this mod due to wanting to avoid overlapping functionality.
Links are in the description to alleviate this issue, too, and those aren't the only mods that can solve the problem.

Generally speaking, you should read a mod's description before downloading it, and you should read the description again before seeking assistance if you think something's wrong.
Attacking someone over *your* mistakes can merely lead to get you blocked without your problem being alleviated.
You are responsible for what you do to your game. Don't be negligent! ;)

These are legit, nice work.

@The Tourniquet

Sorry I don't recall anything about errors like that at the moment. Not brushed up on the mod tools very much lately - been busy with work. :P
The Tourniquet 2 iun. 2019 la 13:50
@Derejin I tried that and got nothing. Oh well, I'll try reinstalling the modding tools, see if that does anything. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, and have a good day.
Derejin  [autor] 2 iun. 2019 la 13:06
@The Tourniquet
Then again, that's why, isn't it? You're trying to add the cloak socket.

So:
I'd recommend searching that up on the XCOM mods subreddit, or Google, or the XCOM 2 Mods Discord.
Search up the error, that is, and see if you can spot the problem. I know there's a couple of weird minor 'quirks' to get around when editing stuff and they don't come to mind at the moment.
Derejin  [autor] 2 iun. 2019 la 13:05
@The Tourniquet
I'm not sure either - it looks like you're loading something from another mod (CloneCommandoArmory), but my mod doesn't reference anything in other mods.

You should be fine, I think? That error doesn't look like it'd effect anything in mine.
I imagine part of the reason you're getting that is because you're loading the wrong file or some such. Not sure.
The Tourniquet 2 iun. 2019 la 11:47
Okay, I know next to nothing about modding, so excuse me if this is a stupid query. I've been trying to add a cloak socket to another mod's armor and followed all of your steps as best I could. However, I've encountered a problem with opening an external package. When I try to do so it says this:

The following resources were not found. Any references to them were set to NULL.
WARNING: If you save now these references will be saved as NULL.

Missing Files
Unable to load package (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\1673453189\Content\CloneCommandoArmory_Assets.upk) PackageVersion 845, MaxExpected 845 : LicenseePackageVersion 120, MaxExpected 108.

I've been troubleshooting for hours and have no idea what's wrong. Any help would be very greatly appreciated.
Derejin  [autor] 6 apr. 2019 la 18:21
@PyrometheusDrakco

I thought it was set up to work with those, at least if you checked for it - could be wrong, sorry. Not feeling well and haven't had the mod tools installed for awhile.

If it's not there it's not there.
TheCrow 6 apr. 2019 la 14:38
can i somehow get this to work with heavy armor like exo?
TheCrow 28 mart. 2019 la 19:19
Its alright lol still is bad ass none the less. Thanks for the mod.
Derejin  [autor] 28 mart. 2019 la 18:22
@PyrometheusDrakco

Certain plates remain untinted. Sorry it doesn't match your vision.

@donahuekyle2
Read the description - this is a known issue and there already exists a mod for fixing those kinds of issues in all mods.
Nazo 28 mart. 2019 la 17:22
Only promblem is if you accidently select shoulders for the Reapers you can not remove them...ever.
TheCrow 28 mart. 2019 la 16:51
As seen in the screenshot the arms and legs are black lol I was hoping to have like a white knight kind of thing.

@PyrometheusDrakco

The mesh underlay of the armor doesn't change color - the armor plating bits do. Look more carefully at the plated parts of the legs and arms. ;)
TheCrow 28 mart. 2019 la 6:13
i dont have any other cosmetic mods only a loot box one. im brand new to this game so maybe im just confused but it seems the chest armor and tinted shoulders become the color i set as my primary color. But the legs and arms don have a tinted version and they stay that blackish color no matter what I do.
Derejin  [autor] 27 mart. 2019 la 19:27
@PyrometheusDrakco

Nope, all of 'em can. If it can't on your end, I suspect another mod is to blame, as I've never heard of anyone having that issue before.

Note that some components (like the capes) have 'tintable/nontinted' versions, in case you wanted a cape that didn't change color to match the rest.
TheCrow 27 mart. 2019 la 18:46
so only the chest can change its armor color?
ATF_Coldblooded Carebear || 11 febr. 2019 la 21:04
ok thank you for the reply and i just had to ask.

To myself " drat no pure White knight" :"(
Derejin  [autor] 11 febr. 2019 la 20:35
@ATF_Coldblooded Carebare ||

It'd be a bit of a process - I'd have to redownload the modding tools, change the MSK, add a bunch of lines of code (mostly copy+paste), repack the stuff, and test. I'd have to clear some harddrive space to do that, too, and I have work that I do each night - it's not likely, sorry. :\
ATF_Coldblooded Carebear || 11 febr. 2019 la 20:04
all i gonna ask (no pressure just wondering) if you had the time for it would it be a "easy" recoding or time consuming process to do so??

thank for the mod none the less it really nice to have in my squad
Derejin  [autor] 11 febr. 2019 la 19:15
@ATF_Coldblooded Carebare ||
At the moment no, sorry - the forearm piece comes as is, and modding isn't a priority for me due to work.
Hope you still enjoy the mod, though!
ATF_Coldblooded Carebear || 11 febr. 2019 la 17:31
is there a way to have the L/R forarm and Arm piece tinted too ??

was gonna do a Twin set of knight White Knight & Black Knight Templars/Ranger

And a merry Christmas to you too good sir.

@FlamingFeather
'saight! Merry Christmas, and glad you like the mod!
FlamingFeather 25 dec. 2018 la 6:29
Hmm, my apologies. I guess I picked up another mod without realizing it. THAT'S WHAT I GET FOR MODDING AT 1AM! heheh, Well thank you for getting back so quickly.
Derejin  [autor] 25 dec. 2018 la 6:25
This mod provides no torso gear, @FlamingFeather.
Not sure what you mean?

There are torso gears that can be equipped on heroes that kinda clip with this torso, but some can look good anyway. Though I doubt that's what you're talking about.
FlamingFeather 25 dec. 2018 la 6:19
Hey, These armors look amazing, but I wanted to ask. Am I the only one having issues with the Female chestplate? The Torso armor piece clips through and covers up most of the torso gear provided by this same mod. Least for me, it seems to do this with every female character.
Derejin  [autor] 23 dec. 2018 la 16:09
@alex33x

If they're not showing up, are you using a torso which restricts customization? They should be available for most vanilla torsos as well as this mod's own torso.
They're individual arms, by the way, not the dual-arms slot. So check the Left or Right arm categories. :)
ØGThor 23 dec. 2018 la 13:07
The arms are not showing up for me,
Aaewen 19 dec. 2018 la 17:16
@Derejin
Thanks, and my apology for not checking the Known issues section first. I suspected as much, the cloak item attaching to certain bone from another armor.

Thanks for showing me how to do it, maybe I will download the modding kit and try to have fun with it.
Derejin  [autor] 14 dec. 2018 la 18:22
@tomomi1922

Mentioned many times before. If it's not equipped on a torso piece that has a Cloak socket on the ribcage bone. Read the Known Issues.

If you have the modding kit, you can modify any torsos (from other mods) add directly add a socket named "Cloak" onto their Ribcage bone to resolve this, but for now, the only torsos that work with the cloak 'out of the box' are this mod's and the Advent Pathfinder's (to my knowledge).
Aaewen 14 dec. 2018 la 16:05
I am not sure if this was mentioned before, but the capes seem to be static. It stays in upright position as if it is hung onto an invisible hanger and float behind the character no matter what the character does.
Derejin  [autor] 29 oct. 2018 la 6:26
@BOOGEYMANE

Yeah - that'd require the kit to fix, and you'd have to modify the armor in question (from another mod) to have that bone, as described in the above Description.

You may be able to get help from the XCOM 2 Mods reddit, though, if you request assistance. It's not hard to do (literally you just add that slot onto the Ribcage of the torso in question, exactly on that bone and exactly named Cloak, save, and then re-pack the mod), so you could ask someone to do it for you by providing the mod you want to edit.

Again, I don't have the mod tools installed at the moment, sorry. Hope this helps.
BOOGEYMANE 29 oct. 2018 la 6:22
incompatible in terms of the cape that doesnt behave as should, when used with a torse from another mod. cloak bone problem
