@LogicSequence: Hi, would it be possible if I could get permission to use your machine world textures for a Halo portrait mod for the Prometheans? I wanted to make the shield world of Requiem as an origin start. I'll also be sure to credit you for it. Thanks.

Currently playing a 2.3.3 game as a Machine Empire. Thought I would give this a try and it appear to work okay, have not had any issues as I teraformed 6 planets to machine planets.

So like many of you, i was a tad dissapointed that the machine planets in-game were not like the Synthetic Dawn release art ( link [forumcontent.paradoxplaza.com]). So i decided to try and make my own version. Now keep in mind this sneak peek is still a work in progress.

LogicSequence; the one you linked a few posts looks a lot like the Borg assimilated Earth from Star Trek!

Maybe that was your inspiration? Either way, it looks better than the one with circular city lights around the planet avoiding the poles.

Honestly, I like that cyborg one more than the original! Would make more sense for assimilators than the others, though.

Actually, maybe "cyborg world" should be a separate planet class of its own. Cheaper than a machine world, but with fewer production bonuses. And it can support assimilated pops.

Working on another machine world texture. What do you all think? Is it too cyborg and not enough machine to go with the rest? Or do you like the variety?
