Actually, Freeasabird, at the time of its opening (24 May 1883) and for several years after, it was a modern wonder of the world. It not only was the longest suspension bridge in the world but was 50% longer than any previously built. This was primarily due to John A. Roebling's patented wirerope design.

Culture is in Vanilla, just not faith. But here I will test alot of your "Gods and Kings" tagged wonders and let you know the results. If they work then post "Vanilla compatable" somewhere so other would be duped Vanilla players can also enjoy your many awesome wonder mods.

I haven't actually tested it with Vanilla, it could work still. It just won't provide culture

Well then it's a good thing this is a mod, isn't it? The best thing about mods is that if you don't like it you don't need to download it, so each person can have their own definition of what a wonder is or isn't

The brooklyn bridge is a WONDER of the world? i don't thinks so. Its a Bridge a very nice bridge yes. but a WONDER ... yeah, No :/

It seems to be very strong situationally. If your capital is already a strong great people farm, this is the wonder for you.

I think it's great. it's not really late game so the 50% bonus is good enough. and it's equivalent to having a free great artist to start a golden age

it is a little weak at this stage in the game

@striker88: It also provides a Golden Age and a boost to Great People generation in this city, so in reality it provides 3 Great Engineer points instead of 2

2 Culture and 2 gold that late in game is nothing, and you're most likely getting frequent golden ages anyway if you can afford to build the wonder

Love the concept, though I feel a bit too powerful, especially at the time it comes in - 2 culture, 2 gold and a free Golden age in the late midgame. 50% great person generation is not too bad (since it's so late in the game). Either lose the culture or gold bonus methinks.
