Just so everyone is aware, I have both the 59 and 69 skill point mods ready to go as soon as mods are live!

In fact, the mod outside of numbers hasn't changed since i first made it in wh1.

I assume wh3 will function similar so even though I will not have early access to it, I will likely have this mod or a version of it up and running in wh3 the day of.

@hanzzz: technically it already is, this mod deals with one VERY specific area of the data.pak that thus far in the entire lifespan of wh2 hasn't been touched.

Because I never have to make changes even if I upload it right now, it won't show as updated since no changes were actually made. I don't know if its a steam thing or a ca thing. You can see it on a few popular mods as well.

@Natty Dread, that is super weird as it was updated. Also, so far even if this mod is out of date i've yet to see them mess with the tables that are used for skill gain so it should still work even if out of date. At least as of the writing of this message.

I'm using Kaedrin's mod manager. And it says your mod was last updated on 31.05.2018. But i have to realise that modding seems to be somewhat messed up in general at the moment.

@Natty Dread, that is something outside of my control, if you are currently using CA's launcher it causes many issues mostly not allowing more than one mod to work. I recommend using Kaedrin's mod manager at least until CA does a fix.

This mod still has issues. I'm only using updated mods, but the skill point mod won't work.

@Sarlar Can you try running it just by itself? I had issues early today with it not working but found that any out of date mod messes with it.

Right after I make a post like that they release a beta patch which may have done stuff to the skill table. I haven't been able to test if the mod will work in the festag beta but I'm inclined to say yes still but will know more in a few hours.

Alright cool, i know i was having serious issues (still am) after the last patch. I had to go in and change stuff to force it to update.

That aside this addon should pretty much always be good to go even if its out of date. So far the life of wh1 or wh2 no patch has done anything to break the tables this mod alters.

Hey man, had to drop by and leave a reccommendation.
yours was my preferred skill mod for Warhammer 1 and again, this is the skill mod I would reccomend.
Too many of the other skill mods end up with just having all of the skills so there's no real significance to what skills you get, just the order in which you get them.

I agree, played around with it a bit and I was finding extra skills to use as a dump after getting my core build with the 69, but on 59 I was finding that I could still get some of the juicy extras while still having to make some tough decisions on where to allocate my points for my core build.

After testing it on a few run throughs i find 69 is a tad too much, 59 i think hits the sweet spot!

About to test out the difference between 69 and 59 with a max lord mod so I can see the effects instantly after recruiting a lord and the differences between them but I'm going to predict 69 feels like too many while 59 gives you a little more freedom but still forces you to make sacrifices.
