That's as far as my modding expertise goes. I'm pretty novice. I'm not sure how to change animations or anything.
I was wondering if it would be too much to ask to make them also able to backstab (and dare I dream, compatible with Scoundrel skills)?
I can't do anything to troubleshoot or make this mod compatible with others unless I remake their mods from scratch, then make spears 1 handed = yes. :P
Sorry for the delayed response.
Any idea which mod is causing the conflict?
To be honest, I don't think you can do much in the way of compatibility. Someone has to specifically edit the _spears parent value in order to conflict with this mod. If they do, the only solution is to ask them politely to also change the 2h value to 1 handed for you (which isn't a lot of work).
@Dashboard Jesus - I"m not certain. They're definitely listed under 2h, still. That would be my bet. I'll take a look when I get a moment.
This mod was ACTUALLY made as an alternative to a 2h piercing mod made by
Liyalai, which can be found here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1149890133
Already exists. Check the description for a link.
I'll definitely be playing around with loot tables, soon, though, so I'll keep this in mind. No promises!!
