@Captain_Cheeki_Breeki Map is built mostly on Counter Strike: Source textures, so you need to own the game, have it installed and then mount it in GMod from the main menu.

@Replica.Elite.JIMMY✝ I do not have access to the original map files, so I cannot fix that unfortunately. Only edited the node graphs, and that's a seperate file. Get a better PC if you want the fps issues fixed :p

oke so i am trying to record a video in this map and i keep going below 60 fps its serious time...for some reall optimization return to your destiny and fix the map you set out to make for like...6 years now.... yeah how about this gets fixed....

If you're still up for the idea of Strider nodes, striders (and gunships and dropships) operate with path_track entities, I think they might be linked up too. I can spawn them in-game and ent_setname on them, but I think for striders to work they have to be a strider's height and linked up somehow.

if you can, you should find more maps and add nodes to them! if they already do, then add air/ground/strider nodes to them if they do not have them already!

@Mr. kitty Well, if there are Strider nodes then the Nodegraph editor does not support them :( I was also really disappointed by seeing striders don't move after i editing my first map.

Some spots in the map for the AI. NPCs look for points in the map to orientate. In a map without any nodes is that you, and nothing else. If the map has nodes, NPCs can orientate through the whole map. Try spawning some combines, then run away. They will find you almost everytime.

Unfortunately, I can't unlock the doors. They are saved in the map itself, and not in the nodegraph. But for unlocking them yourself, you can download "Extended Properties" or something.

I disabled the "Do not show known file names"-option in windows folder-settings. "RP_Downtown_v2" turned into "RP_Downtown_v2.txt", so i changed the suffix to .ain and everything was done. Some maps have a nodegraph included in their .bsp, so you have to download a small programm, called PakRat, to add, delete or move stuff inside the .bsp.

A queation on the nodegraph editor, how did you convert the .txt to a .ain? i renamed the file but it was still just a text document. please help me out here.

Thank you :D I already noticed that Fast Zombies don't jump and NPCs have difficulties climbing stairs. Going to fix that in the future.

Sometimes the NPCs get stuck, but other than that. Great job! I would love to see more edits like this. It's about time RP_Downtown was worth playing with NPCs.
