Keep in mind this is fairly late game. So it's not available until the repeatable tech appears. You can debug it with "techweights soc" - it should appear, when there is a chance. Keep in mind that you have to had "tech_ascension_theory" researched already.

@Magnum I decided to modify your mod to suit my needs and upload it (if anyone want it, it doesn't cost me).

@Oberon Just wait half a year, reinstall Windows and it just works. Nice.
@Kataru Steam has no setup for this. And I don't like to support/host/provide older versions due cost-value ratio. Most of my mods however I don't change very much between updates. And when I do I state the specific changes in the changelog. So feel free to download und revert the mod yourself.

For the other mod creator, they've create a "new mod" for the 2.1, to fix this "error", it seems to be the only way to make a working mod on the new 2.1 version..

I think the mod has a very bad bug/or its broken but once i get to my 7th perk finishing a tree or using the reaserch perk it dosent free up a slot so now i need 4 slots to be unlocked lol fail XD( but if u can get back to me if u know way to fix that would be awsome ) thx

I unarchive everything from the archive with your mod, into a separate folder, open "magnum_ascension_perks_research_tech" through the notepad ++, and change the value of "levels = 5" to "levels = 25", and everything (mod ready, for me), how to publish?

I might do that myself at one point. I personally haven't settled on a extended tradition mod myself. The original plentiful traditions mod I used to have has been discontinued. Every other tradition mod seems to be in a very rough shape at the moment.
The main problems besides bugs seems to be way tradition cost is calculated at the current patch level and that those mods don't reduce the cost, so that it takes literally ages to get the next ascension perk after like 8 tradition trees are completed. Therefore I personally played with the idea to reduce traditions cost (in a new mod/using an existing mod) instead of increasing the number of repeatable tech to get an ascension perk. After all I want to get those traditions ^^

But of course you can use my mod and alter it. Please leave a original credit note :)
Also send me a link when you are done. I will include it in my description.

hay I have an idea for a type of system to go into a mod/or expansion but only 1 person does it and is Super out of date and I was wondering if its something you might do with one of your mods in the future bc u make alot of mods that i use(60% of mine lol) but it makes it so u ahve more options with factions in your empire and can completely ban them for a penalty in influence per turn/month)

At the moment it does because the prerequisite is unique to the expansion. For whatever ever reason there is a different tech for Apocalypse and not Apocalypse to get the current vanilla ascension perk research.
See tech_ascension_theory_apoc versus tech_ascension_theory
And yes I could make it compatible to both techs - if there is demand that is.
