Awesome, would you consider doing Comerica Park or Little Ceasar's Arena next?
joshua.hockman 15 Feb, 2018 @ 4:52pm
It's beautiful, but why is it so crime infested? I have a police station right next door, and it always has crime?

I had some trouble with it as well, took me a bit of effort to get some good results:
Brightness: 0
Gamma: 0.5
Contrast: -0.4
Temperature: -0.3
Rest is for the standard template.
Global light tot 5 and ambient to 1 in ultimate eyecandy.
I added a screenshot of my new setup (last 1).

You must be talking about Relight. Mind sharing how you have it setup? I can't seem to get a satisfying result.
AngryDragon 31 Jan, 2018 @ 2:50pm
Which one?
Darf  [author] 31 Jan, 2018 @ 2:31pm
Yeah I was using classic daylight, nowadays use that new mod by Ronyxx, also shadow strength adjuster.
AngryDragon 31 Jan, 2018 @ 12:54pm
I've got it figured out after a bit of research. I'm guessing that you are using the classic daylight mod right? The whitewashing that I've been experiencing is something that's been going on since After Dark. Some peoples have compared it to someone pissing on the screen. The screen does indeed look rather yellow.
Darf  [author] 31 Jan, 2018 @ 9:36am
I´m using natural color lut or sattelite on the screen shots, but the reason white buildings might be so light for you might be because either bloom is enabled or tonemapping is disabled.
AngryDragon 30 Jan, 2018 @ 3:39pm
I'm curious about the LUT you are using. This building and several others always seem like they are being blasted white by a giant death ray on my screen.

I´ve recently comeback from a trip to the east coast, so I´ve got a lot of material lying around. But not sure when I find some time and drive to make some stuff.

Hey @Darf, Are you still making assets? If so, have you got any NYC buildings in the works?
LordDevorkian69 2 Nov, 2017 @ 1:41pm
well no matter, i subbed to yours, cause yours looks more realistic than his plastic crap version.
Darf  [author] 30 Oct, 2017 @ 2:15pm
Well the visual difference should be obvious. Not sure what his building was based off. There is a Dime Savings Banks in most big cities in the USA.
LordDevorkian69 30 Oct, 2017 @ 1:13pm
whats the difference between this one and khrysler's version?

The Shards 7 Oct, 2017 @ 10:51am

PearBear 4 Oct, 2017 @ 7:40pm
Gotta appreciate the love for the D!
icantthinkofaname 4 Oct, 2017 @ 1:24pm
You should do some buildings from Dallas, theres a couple of really nice older buildings there.
Dave 4 Oct, 2017 @ 7:15am
@RaeNut, the building with the brown pointy roof, if we're thinking of the same one, is One Detroit Center.
Oak Street Local 3 Oct, 2017 @ 1:06pm
Thank you Darf! It's nice to read that this building was designed by Daniel Burnham, one of my favorite architects. You've done a great job recreating this masterpiece! Have a very nice holiday!
Zerogae 3 Oct, 2017 @ 7:47am
You're buildings are awesome, thanks.
mity1021 3 Oct, 2017 @ 3:38am
I love these kinds of buildings. Thank you for making this!
Jensoo 3 Oct, 2017 @ 2:53am
Great model! Thought it was the Equitable Building in NY at first glance. :)
Pamani 3 Oct, 2017 @ 2:28am

RaeNut 2 Oct, 2017 @ 8:11pm

Blujitsu 2 Oct, 2017 @ 3:04pm
Awesome! Very nice for a little landmark.
tomb 2 Oct, 2017 @ 2:20pm
Fantastic! And you're right, this is a very typical style of building in the US - they were built this way to bring air and light into the building. There's not any of these in CSL, thank you for making one, excellent modelEnjoy your USA vacation!
