it is a really good challenge. got to the really deep dive pool but kept running out of air. tried to do it a few times but took so long to get there i had to quit. thanks for the great entertainment.:steamhappy::steamthumbsup:

alright, i downloaded the map from the workshop (so i'm sure i'm editing the one that is currently available to play). i saw nothing wrong for that bug to occur. a did a few things, that should not "fix the bug". basically, there is no bug in the map. Everything is setup as it should. I've uploaded a new version with some tweaks that shouldn't even matter. If the bug still persists, then this is a tools problem, not following it's own rules. I tested a few times and the last two the quest went through. but the couple first times i tested, i saw the quest stopping ("bug") for no apparent reason. like i said, i tweaked some stuff that shouldn't matter to the playability of the map. last time i tested it worked. i hope it continues to work now!

I already know how to continue the game, you have to kill all the guards in the station, try to open the locked door next to the train, and go to restore the power to the station, then the station will light up everywhere, and get the keycard on the second floor, you can go into the room after doing these steps. (The whole map is already done).
But I can't start the quest "Restore power to the station" or anything like that.

The main problem with my playthrough is that I always die before I get to the station with the guards (not just on the water level, it's a really challenging map), and when I finally get there I can't do anything to continue the story. The power can't be restored, the keycard on the table on the second floor can't be picked up, and the door to the room where Dr Abdul is supposed to be locked can't be opened.

I've seen that video before, he's really a great speedrunner and it's really a great map with a dark atmosphere must score 10/10. I like it so much.

not sure why that part would not work - it's a pretty straight forward quest. i don't see how it could glitch. check out aussiegg's speedrun in the video in the description, as 13:20. what's different from your playthrough?

I can find the keycard on the table on the second floor of the station, but I can't pick it up in this situation, nor can I restore the station's power, the quest description is still in the right corner of the screen but there's no more way to continue the story.

if you die during the water level, the map might get glitched. i worked for hours trying to fix it but couldn't understand why the tools was bugging out at that part. if you only die in the train station (where the soldiers are) and respawn in the caves (just before the train station) you should be fine. make sure there is an objective in the corner saying something. if there is still an objective, maybe you just have to figure out what to do.

I don't know it is or if not, but when I encounter this bug I'm always die once, and I'll go back to the location on the map, and then it gets stuck. So I think maybe its the reason about it?

@forestzuishuai nobody's ever mentioned such bug, i don't think. but if there is really nothing saying in the quest, then it's possibly a bug.

Now I am going to go for this: Track down Dr Abdul or find his notes, but when I'm go the underground (after the water level on the map) and kill all of the soldiers, I can't open the door to the station inside. There's also not the next quest what I should do, is there a bug?

@sawely i old enough to have played the og when it came out ;) yeah,the bugs at the end are just an amount of stuff i threw into the map, possibly pushing the tools too far. but glad you enjoyed it. thanks for the comment!

hey! thanks! i left respawnable zombies so there's always stuff to kill - that would have been another way to go, to clear it out - didn't think about that. would have been nice as well. yeah, im glad you enjoyed the lore - i tried to make it as believable of a situation as possible. :) happy to hear you enjoyed it :)

I really liked the attention to detail in all the notes and hidden places. I was wondering why there are so many zombies, but then you explained that at the train section-- great work!

Fun map, I only wish the zombies didn't respawn so I could clear the place out (also bc it's scary af when you think you've made a safe zone behind yourself only to be jumped by a newly spawned horde)

Very nice game, I love it. I started to play this map last night at 23:00 and went to bed at 2:30 without finishing this map. Unfortunately, there is no save/load function, I have to play this map again. NOOOO

You are right in both accounts; it was my first map so I got carried away with building the ideas I was having and didn't take into account how long it would take to finish. As for the labyrinth, until the gallery, it is a bit labyrynthy. I added a lot of side areas for exploration. I guess that made it even more difficult to navigate. My initial idea was to make plenty of hours of more dying light. Most of the maps maps being made where mostly 10 minute long so I thought huge map was better and didn't take into account having to play it in one sitting, cause of no saves. But hey. Makes for a fun afternoon. If you are still stuck, you can follow my playthrough video.

Hey doomguy, you asked me to speedrun this map for you, and right now I'm learning it so I can do a run.

But I'm stuck in the caves with all the virals right after you grab the keys from the train area. The current tracked quest is "reach the site's top floor and enter the director's office". I've tried climbing back up through all the rock edges but am unable to get anywhere near out of the caves. I've obviously done something wrong, any help?

Other than that, this map is fantastic and WAY more in-depth than I would ever imagine.

it took me about 3 hours and 50 minutes.... at first i wasn't very impressed by this map. but damn... you did an awesome job there it kinda felt like a little dlc. i really like that you reward those players that search around and explore the map. you also did a great job with the oppressive and stifling atmosphere in the most parts of the map. i am so fucking happy i made it out. Thank you for this map!

i have another map being built but i lack some motivation for it right now. i'd like to finish it though, and i hopefully will (sometimes i get really motivated and work for weeks/months, so i'm waiting for that! either for dying light 1, or dying light 2). regarding the bugs, thanks for pointing that out. if i ever go into the map again, ill try and fix that. i tested it a bilion times, but there's always bugs. i just dont wanna fix one thing and break another, and with dying light developers tools that happens a lot, so we'll see. cheers

hey, thanks! :) 7 and a half hours is quite a long time! i built this map to provide hours more of content for dying light; when i finsihed dying light campaign, i wanted to play more and the worskhop had/has vastly 5 minute speed-run maps, so i built this map to provide hours of extra content. im glad you enjoyed it! :)
