@TouchMeSenpai I think I know why, If your last custom battle wasn't a land battle before turning on the maps mod, it will crash when you change to land battles, although if it was this doen'st happen. So I suggest doing a fast land battle with any map, exiting the game and than turning on my map mode. this should do the trick.

There is a wierd bug that the game crashes if your not alredy on land battles since I added the @ infront of my maps so they appear on top but if I take the @ out they will sorted mid table...

After redownloading, the map mod works. The main mod still doesn't work. Neither solo, nor with the map pack.No other mods are enabled and my TW installation is fine.

@Nolann, Son of Khaine Just used the mod today and it's working fine, while the map pack is compatable with anything the main mod should not be used with any other mod that adds or changes units. If you are just using the main mod and getting crashes unsub and re-sub the mod for it can be a corrupted steam download.

@Jman5 , Hi! So It's not the main mo but the maps that are crashing when you jump from seiges to land battles and I found out the problem. The game doesn't like the @ that I added in the last update so my maps appear first before the rest, this means I either revert back to the old naming method and they apeear about middle of the table or stay like this and people just cant swap to seige maps nd back. Seeing that most people will use the mod mosly for land battles I will go with the later. If you prefere the old sortiung method you can revet to the update before in the version notes up top. Hope this helps!!

Hey Romor, I love the mod. I've noticed a crash bug though that I think it related either to this mod or the pick any lord one. When I go into custom battle, select siege battle maps, then select land battles maps, my game crashes.

I have to deselect your mods to get back to land battle maps.

@Chef yes seeing that I have 2 maps for testing forest units I will include a shalow water map to test aquatic units in my next update.

I've got a super-simple feature request if you've got the time: Please can you rename all the maps with an '@' or a '!' or something similar so they appear at the top of the alphabetical map list?

it works, doesnt need an update and even if I did it would'nt show because If a Modder doesnt change anything when he re-uploads the mod steam doesn't change the date.

@Just4Fun I will be changing all maps for WH3, like the deployment zones and making all a little bit bigger, for now I recomend the 400x400 for the longer range units or the 300x1000 with the 100m markers so you know where you are deploying :)

@Stix That's great. It seems that there is a way to put my own battle map into some cities in the campaign. I want to put a siege map I made into a city in the campaign and replace the original map of the city. But I don't know how to do it,could you help me? Thank you

For a map to be used in campaign they have to replace an existing map and be included in campaign by a mod builder. The GCCM mod is an example of this. (obviously these maps have been built for testing units in a custom battle scenario).

I find these very useful to work out strengths and weakness of units , testing game mechanics and spells etc

@帝国武士, these are very small maps for units to start near each other to make it easier to test them. I'm afraid they would'nt fit well for large armies in campaign.

FYI: This is the map packs,the mod "Pick any unit for Lord for battle testing" is only required for unit testing(as per its description). You can use this map pack standalone if u want with vanilla if u just want to use these map packs in custom battles.

When both are installed it also seems to work with SFO as well (so far).
I don't know why vanilla doesn't have a option to let you test units like this.
