@Albion after some more testing I found out the issue was with, it think it was "Graze Up" that was one, it was causing every animal to actually bug out because it had not been updated (didn't notice it in my list originally)
Albion  [author] 27 May, 2024 @ 3:17am
This might be due to a behaviour change from some other mod. What this mod actually does is simply change the predators from carnivore to herbivore and that's it. All actual behaviour and interactions are from the game (or some other mod).

tried placing corn next to him, wouldn't eat that either, did eat modded meat though.

I'm experiancing an issue with my arctic wolf trying to consume ground plants from alpha biomes, it loops through consuming them over and over, however the plant is unaffected nor do they gain food :(

thanks for the update❣:gr_cat:
oiwa 16 Sep, 2021 @ 9:17am
I know right, it really is wild how long it has been!
I'm always thankful and appreciative of it and so glad that other people have found it useful as well! :happypug:
Albion  [author] 2 Sep, 2021 @ 12:01pm
Thank you.
I'm happy to help. It only took a few hours to make and publish.
Crazy to think it has been 4 years now.
oiwa 2 Sep, 2021 @ 11:05am

Crimzn 5 Mar, 2021 @ 9:35am
any way to not take away the docile part but allow them to eat grass? id just like them to be omnivores with normal aggression
Fion 27 May, 2020 @ 7:15am
Oh thank you! i fckn hate predators. Not because they are so strong, but because i get this message 90% of the time my colonists are leaving the base...and these FUCKING THINGS ARE RUNNING OVER THE WHOLE MAP TO KILL THEM!!!! Or they are right beside the dude allready so i cant do anything besides loading...because i hate loosing my dudes for shit like that i cant even prevent in any way...
Albion  [author] 25 Feb, 2020 @ 5:56am
You can actually run it in 1.1 already. I just didn't change the tags yet. Will do so once I update all my mods.
☭ King of All Cosmos ☭ 25 Feb, 2020 @ 1:09am
We can have 1.1 Update Please?
oiwa 28 Oct, 2019 @ 3:19pm
i love that this mod gets used by others :dog_heart: love this mod forever
Zairya 5 Oct, 2019 @ 3:57am
Hello Albion,

would it be possible to make patch for Alpha Animals/ Dinosaurs/ GeneticRim?
I like the mod very much. My poor bees and pregnant farm livestock are usually bitten to death before I can even draft a near pawn.
76561198797994329 30 Sep, 2019 @ 7:58am
if this mod is true...i am loving it
Albion  [author] 30 Jan, 2019 @ 9:15am
What you want is not that easily achievable unfortunately. I recommend you posting in the forum. Maybe someone will pick up the idea.
Bravowulf 30 Jan, 2019 @ 4:49am
sadly, I have no idea how to make such a mod, i just have a scenario in mind - primitive tribe vs nature, as soon as you step out, you are prey, but I cannot get that with default predator behaviour
Bravowulf 30 Jan, 2019 @ 4:47am
problem with default predator behaviour is that they will happy attack each other - i've noticed only smaller predators have a line in def files that allows them to attack anyone bigger than themselves... bigger predators don't have that line and from what I've observed, they attack anything that is up to their body size... so I spawned a map with 100% predators using another mod and they pretty much ignore humans and attack each other... i belive a mod that would force all predators to attack pray of max size 1 (human size) would mean that predators larger than 1 ignore each other and attack everything up to size 1, which includes humans... over time, i believe map would be filled with lots of large predators (bigger than 1) that would attack humans as soon as them become targetable (get out of buildings), which is what I want
Albion  [author] 29 Jan, 2019 @ 5:23am
I think this is actually already vanilla behavior. If the predator is large enough he can randomly select a human as prey. However this is only true for bears, wargs and maybe wolves.
If you want a weird challenge it would be possible though to create a mod that turns all vanilla animals into predators which will turn your map into a weird free-for-all.
Bravowulf 29 Jan, 2019 @ 1:15am
Hey, albion, could your mod be tweaked to do the exact opposite? make all predators treat humans like regular prey and make them attack humans if they are the closest prey "animal" when they get hungry?
Albion  [author] 20 Jan, 2019 @ 3:36pm
The mod should be compatible with an other mod but only changes vanilla animals. Predators from other mods remain unchanged.
Disastrophi 20 Jan, 2019 @ 1:03pm
Love the Mod. Does it work with mods like alpha animals and mega fauna?
Albion  [author] 23 Nov, 2018 @ 5:00pm
Never thought it would get this many subscribers. Glad some people like it.
oiwa 23 Nov, 2018 @ 12:14pm
almost 300 subscribers :)
still forever grateful for this mod :happypug: makes me feel great playing this game
AlasseEarfalas 23 Oct, 2018 @ 9:51am
Any way you could make a patch for Animal Collab Project?
Albion  [author] 18 Oct, 2018 @ 1:04am
I updated the mod so it shows the new version number. Technically the mod is fully compatible with any version since A17.
oiwa 31 Aug, 2018 @ 7:18pm
thanks as always for the update!! i love this mod!!
Albion  [author] 30 Aug, 2018 @ 12:32pm
I updated the mod so it appears correctly as a B19 mod. However it is fully compatible with B18 and A17!
Continue to enjoy a more familiy friendly Rimworld without scary animals.
Zairya 28 Aug, 2018 @ 11:13am
Naturally, the Rim got a lot friendlier with it^^
Albion  [author] 28 Aug, 2018 @ 7:38am
Wow... I just realized this mod actually has 200 subs. Never thought it would get that many.
Albion  [author] 25 Apr, 2018 @ 8:20am
No it only works on normal animals.
Bugs and other threads are unaffected. They are technically not hunting but trying to actively kill all your colonists. There is a difference ;)
Zairya 25 Apr, 2018 @ 7:50am
stupid question:

does it work on bugs (from investions or the cavern biomes) too?
Cvoxalury 15 Jan, 2018 @ 6:36am
Thank you enormously. It is absolutely awful and frustrating when some goddamn wolf or cougar sneaks near my base and suddenly attacks my colonists and they never-ever stand any chance of being rescued. Had it happen right now, a minute ago. Went straight to the workshop, typed in 'predator', boom, found this, exactly what I need, thanks again.
Albion  [author] 3 Jan, 2018 @ 11:23am
You can safely add and remove this mod from any savegame.
I am a Legit Scientist 3 Jan, 2018 @ 10:52am
Can you add this to a save file or have to start a new game?
Albion  [author] 31 Dec, 2017 @ 8:04pm
Thanks for the appreciation. As I mentioned, I created this mod in a few hours due to a request on the rimworld forum and never expected many subscribers. It's more of a niche anyway.
People who want this feature might find it on their own but to be fair I don't really advertise for this mod.
Just rate, subscribe and share this mod with friends and maybe a few more people will enjoy it.
If it ever exceeds 200 Subscribers I will probably open some champagne :D
My main interest and ambition are with my main mod 'Sparkling Worlds' but it would be nice to see this mod succeed in its own way and I'm glad I improved the experience of over 100 players.
Ellie 31 Dec, 2017 @ 9:25am
Thanks very much. I saw compared to a lot of other mods this didn't have many users. I actually was in dire need of this mod. I don't like the predators in the maps destroying all the little wildlife. At the start of each map i play i am always scouting the map to find the predators and destroy them. I hate when i miss one and they eat everything. This makes my life easier now. Thank you very much.
Albion  [author] 24 Nov, 2017 @ 7:19am
I officially updated the mod to B18. However you can still install and use it in any A17 game
oiwa 25 Oct, 2017 @ 3:13pm
Thanks!! I've really been enjoying this mod to the fullest! A must-have for me, thank you again for making it :dog_heart: It works like a charm ^0^
Albion  [author] 25 Oct, 2017 @ 4:06am
By the way: this mod is fully A17 and A18 compatible.
Once A18 is officially released I'll change the target version of this mod to A18 but it can still be installed and used in any A17 version of the game. There will be no changes.
Albion  [author] 13 Oct, 2017 @ 6:13pm
Very true dragonbolt but oiwa asked for this mod in the forum, I was in a good mood and so I created and published it.
I'm personally not using this mod but if other people like it... let's give the people what they want.
I don't suspect this mod will ever get more than maybe 100 or 200 subscribers but as long as it makes someone happy my job here is done.
DB 13 Oct, 2017 @ 3:14pm
A.K.A. Destroy the ecosystem because they don't agree with your social views

good looking mod by the way but in real life this would destroy the ecosystem
oiwa 7 Oct, 2017 @ 7:44pm
That's really nice of you! I will definitely enjoy this mod for sure!! :happypug:
Albion  [author] 7 Oct, 2017 @ 6:20pm
No problem. Glad to help and make people happy.
It's more of a niche this mod is filling but it only took about two hours to make so I created and published it for you guys to enjoy.
oiwa 7 Oct, 2017 @ 6:01pm
I was the requester of this and just wanted to thank you again for fufilling my request! :james::starempty::special::awakesheep::happy_creep:
this makes me so happy!:happypug:
