Thanks for the mod. Both the price increase and turn increase really makes global recruitment far too expensive to be worth it like it is in vanilla.

Thanks a lot for this. I've never ever used global recruitment in my 1000 hours of playing because of the duration but now I can finally enjoy the feature.

I tried looking in that discord group this time and before, but Im a bit confused with that group, since i see only specific mod's rooms/channels and nothing for requests/random mod questions.

Hey Ghoulish Gejnor, can you tell me if its possible to modify global recruitment cost ? Couldnt find those tables myself.

Long story short, i wanted to create mod which makes global recruitment cost the same as local for specific faction only. So if you can tell me what tables im looking for, it will be very much appreciated.

The mod works, will everyone stop whining already. Every damn TW game it's the same moaning on the workshop, because nobody bothers to actually check in-game if the mod works.

Thanks for this mod ! It's pretty cool :)

I would rather pay the same cost as local recruitment though, and wait for longer. I feel it would make more sense (simulating the fact that your troops arrive after a while).

I have searched for a while, but I can't find the line I need to modify to get the costs of global recruitment to the same level as local recruitment costs.

Do you know how I could do that ? Thanks !

Thanks for this! I came looking for it again as Norsca as I know I'll be doing a lot of global recruitment off in the far reaches of the world, and this mod will make it more fun to go raiding in far off areas.

Yes, pretty much.

I know, its a bit dumb but you're still paying 2x than for local recruitment and i can't really change the mod to accomodate Alith's unique position so i'll just leave it in as is.

Hope this doesn't shatter any immersions.

How does this mod affects Alith Anar that already gets -1 Global Recruitment? Does this mean everything for Alith Anar is 1 turn recruitment?

I don't know why the units ought to cost more AND take longer to get, AND not get local benefits, it should be one of those things, or maybe two.

This doesn't seem to be working for me, is it possible it isn't compatible with new units i've downloaded from other mods. Also is it possible that this mod just won't work with Radious? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Agreed, I've always hated this about TW in general, that by the time you have tier 5 units, you never use them because your main armies are far from home, and you can't afford to have them sit around for 4-6 turns doing nothing to get those top units. So I always ended up beating the game with super veteran mid-tier units. This mod at last lets me play with all the good stuff.

It could very well be that yes, it can occasionally get a bit silly where Global Recuit is faster than Local Recruitment due to a Global Recruit reduction skill or tech.

A bit unbalanced in places but i still cannot play with this off anymore due to not wanting to throw up over something like a 6 turn unit.

@Gejnor Great point, thanks! However, something somewhere doesn't add up then. I was playing a Skaven campaign this past weekend, before TK came out. I noticed in that campaign, with your mod, I was able to recruit Rat Ogres globally in only 1 turn, but locally it took 2 turns. Looking at the main_units table, I can see that both Rat Ogres and Ushabti have create_time = 2, so I would think that this global speedup I noticed for Skaven applies to TK as well, if this mod was indeed the cause.

Quite puzzled by this. Will revisit the Skaven campaign today to see if the global speedup is still there. Could that Skaven behaviour be from some LL skill or tech?

Thats because they take 2 turns to recruit locally as well, if this mod was off you'd have to wait 4(!) turns.

Amazing mod, have been a huge fan since you made this mod for WH1.

One slight issue though, it doesn't seem to be working for any of the Tomb King units. Ushtabi, for example, still take 2 turns to globally recruit with this mod active.
