Guys. I don't think he's updating this mod anymore. It's been several patches and dlc's since and this guy hasn't been on since early june last year. Look at all that and where we are now. I think you get the hint. It's dead.

This mod works as you'd expect, in double time stance you move alot faster in the water. The only issue I've run into is that when you go treasure hunting at sea and pick the option for your character to do better on the campaign map, it seems to make your army actually move slower. Could just be me, but this can easily be averted by picking combat boost instead. (High Elves)

I updated the mod to the new version, however no changes were made.

@killerkohl: not sure about the naval Invasions in the vortex map. I have seen AI armies using the stance, but not very often, thats true.

i've had some issues game hang after naval movement with this mod, playing ME campaign with the Hotfix patch, removing the mod stoped the issue. No issues before the ME Hotfix patch.

@Apex @Darkmoon Knight: I am looking for any way to implement this better, but at the moment I don't know how do it for agents or different races different.
@the others: I will upload a version with +80% soon, but If thats not your liking its very easy to mod it yourself. Just use this mod, get PackFileManager, open "@tetoa_morenavalmovementrange.pack" and change the two values from 90 to anything else.

not sure if anyone else feels like me, but it would be awesome:steamhappy: if you could make it so that etc races like the High Elves, Dark elves who are good sailors maby have etc 90% M-Range and other lesser races on the sea would get like 70 or 80 % ? just a idea i had x) :steamhappy:

@jpinard: I have some problems uploading mods to the workshop at the moment, but I will try again soon.

@Corporal carrot: I don't know if thats possible. I agree that naval combat is underwhelming right now, I hope some other modders improve it with real ship units (with auto-resolve) or at least with some traits, anicllaries etc. adding some bonuses.

@Corporal Carrot, pretty sure this has the same naval combat system as in the first game. Only half the map wasn't water like this 1 so it was a pretty rare thing in the first game.

Your're the only naval modder out yet, so I thought I would ask. Could you remove naval combat entirely like in the first Warhammer game. I hate the autoresolve calculations and there's no way to actually improve your navies like in older Total Wars, so it's just a diceroll whether or not your army wins. I guess it would mean you could hide your army out at sea though, but maybe you could add attrition or something like that or that you take a turn before you can embark.. I don't know, just make it similar to WH1, they really dropped the ball on it, to say it's a bunch of islands.

@Remake: it should be save game compatible.
The additional range is only shown if your in water and in stance "Double time", if you are on land and in the march stance you can't notice any difference. Only after going onto the water the additional effect is applied . Maybe thats the reason?

Would you be up for doing an 80% version? 90% feels a bit too much. I know 10% isn't much difference, but sailing around the isles for multple turns it adds up quick and I'd like to feel a little more balanced. Thanks for this!

It is called 'Full Speed' not double time for Dark Elves. However, it seems to take effect from this mod so ...thanks!

@PIXY_UNICORN: Does the Black Arc has the "Double Time Stance"? If not I don't think it will work, but I can try to find something else for it. Maybe it has a unique stance. I didn't played Dark Elves yet.

Nice I always hated how long it took to travel over seas! Does this work with all races and ships e.g. black ark?
