This is quite an easy map if you get your tactics right , i lost about 60 troops during whole scenario , use your head not your troops

Quite frankly unplayable and leaves little to no room for customization or fun. As others have said, it's a min/max turtling game and it's not fun at all. Also. the sheer amount of enemies just gets glitchy and just ruins it. Wave size and/or times inbetween waves need to be reduced.

The guys crying about how hard it is to deal with waves are noobs or people who do NOT enjoy putting their brain to work to get advantages. Strategy:
=> Build lots of catapults, and crossbow men
=> Time them(catapults) to attack at one place during different times( select 2-4 catapults, make them attack at one place, wait for some time(1-2 seconds), select 2-4 other catapults, do the same thing, and repeat)
=> Catapults are going to continiously attack the place or the zone, and the enemy's army is going to run in there( crossbow men are just in case some troop goes near the catapults somehow by having 999% luck )
=> Once the raid is finished, get more high-ground
=> Get estates, build on them to get an economy boost, like produce mass cheese on them or mass meat, to later sell it.
==> Repeat

EASY.

Once you have enough high ground, make sure to attack the enemy's archers that are in the towers or walls etc with ballista, and slowly but surely you will overwhelm the AI's defences, that are going to be weak enough for you to absolutely murder him. Build a lot of macemen since economy isn't going to be a problem at this point. Once you feel like it, attack the king. ALSO, USE THE " SAVE " button to test if something works or not before doing it.

Yo Pstuder12321, its stronghold 2. its fun to try to fight the endless waves. 7/10 map, didnt have enough difficulty.

For everyone that doesn't know how to, start with collecting the 200 chees when you finished that objective you'll get more building options. After that, hold on and create a slugfest.

I think the overwhelming invasions are part of a bug I found: Large invasions ignore the set repeat count and dump them all at once.

That said, this was a fun and challenging scenario. I watched many an army melt away before final victory. But then, on the way to the fridge, I realized there was a huge strategic hole you could march a thousand pikemen through. I won't spoil it for y'all by telling.

Its like all these scenarios are contests to who can be the biggest moron and epicly fail at making a game. Let me teach you something real quick, If you need to flood me with endless waves of insane BS to consider your map good or challenging or whatever moronic reasoning you have for this then stop making maps because they suck. Any enjoyment that would have come from this is taken away very quickly by the fact that you have to turn your entire estate (which boundries are horrible btw) into a weapon grinding facility and dont even get certain stuff until later in the game while your flooded with 2-3- even 4 waves at a time of bs. 0/10 start looks like it'll be very fun but then turns into a contest of just how stupid the creator could be. STOP MAKING GAMES THAT ARE INSANE BS WAVE DEFENSES THATS NOT AT ALL WHAT STRONGHOLD 2 IS ABOUT.

I enjoyed playing this, although the sheer quantity of enemy defenses and assaults forces you to play in a min/max turtle style that really highlights the weaknesses of SH2.

Fun map at the beginning, quickly turns into a slogfest with mass turtling in the beginning. The waves need toning down or the frequency reduced, some waves came before the second one was finished.

The lack of iron hurt me, only Sir Grey's next door estate will produce iron but you have to clear a lot of trees... good luck with the frequent waves!

And the assault on his castle is an absolute meatgrinder. The sheer amount of missile units will eat anything you send, and it's made worse that the only reliable assault troops you'll have are Macemen (if your economy can afford to mass buy maces due to the lack of a Blacksmith AND iron).

Very well made and detailed map. I wish there was third part to it though, a huge assault after you capture all estates for example.

I must be missing something, I can't increase from Duke and I can only make spearmen. How am I supposed to take on stonewalls without even a ladder or catapult? Nobody else seems to be complaining so it must be a new bug with the recent updates.

mission 2 is easy, all you need is to get the state that allows you to get to the castle from behind.. you can kill the king with the ballista's is very easy actually...

Nice layout of the map and very beautifu landscape! The first attacks are a bit tricky, but whenever you build walls, it shouldn't matter anymore. I spent about 5 hours playing this and enjoyed every moment!

The frequency of invasions I think is waay to often. I had to turtle up in a small castle with no breathing room between attacks to rebuild or counter attack. A few more waves of reinforcements or assistance from Sir Williams castle would go a long way to improve the map.
