I'm not too sure on the specifics, but here's what I know.
MLP:FiM came out around 2008 I think.
Some point a Fallout fan made a piece of fanart of a pony wearing T-51b Power Armour.
Real good quality art too.
Then a person who goes by KKat was inspired by that art and made a fanfic titled Fallout:Equestria that was well liked for quality and capturing the hellish nature of the Fallout Setting.
Peopled liked that fanfic enough to make their own fanfics, fleshing out the world.
And people who like Source Film Maker and GMod made models to recreate scenes from the fanfics.
And I used those models and some coding to make functioning SWep, so people can pretend to be in Fallout:Equestria, or do whatever else with it.

So it's a fallout-themed Pony Swep Addon with 9 years of history, made for roleplay and general fun.

That is, the fuck, this shit is. After 9 years of development, I hope it's worth the wait. Thanks and have fun. xD

Also, come to think about it, if companies knew what was happening in this pirate cove of a workshop, a *lot* of things would be C&D. Especially anything owned by EA and Sony, maybe Nintendo. Thankfully the GMod Workshop is pretty will hidden, unless you want to out thousands of us just to spite me. xD

Unlike Hasbro, Bethesda is pretty chill about copyright. They acknowledge Fallout:Equestria is a thing, and they are pretty okay with it.

Hasbro, despite owning MLP and all that, isn't well liked by bronies. The tend to Cease and Desist anything that gets too big. Thankfully we have ways around that. xD

I was looking for Fallou weapons an found this. I just have one question: So they don't have hands right and don't grip guns the same way right? So why does it have the stock and an area for where the trigger would be if they can't use it that way?

A proper tag system would be useful, but as your point stands with them hunting pony things down, yeah. Can't really stop that.

You know, I was thinking. What if the GMod workshop had a proper tag system, and a blacklist system as well.

That way you could search "Fallout_4 Laser -mlp -herr_doktor_(user)". I'm sure if given time I could come up with a better system, but anything like that would make gents like Mr.T0RTUG4 happier.

Then again most anti-mlp gents intentially search out content like this, so such system would be useless for them. Funny how they bash gents like us for "obsessing" over the MLP when they obsessively search for MLP content to bash. But I digress.

Alright mate, hope you can figure out about the Kill icons and stuff, in Goldsource it was easy to make for me to be honest, but I think that it might be easy to make those, although I don't know anything about coding, I wish you good luck on your next projects mate.

I'm currently taking a break to see if I can imrove the quality of my SWeps. Comparing what I've made to what there is out there, I'm offering some pretty lousy things. Before I'll work on weapons again, I'll have to figure out how to at least make Spawn Icons, Hotbar Icons, an Kill Icons. After that, it may as well be how to simplify some code for the not-quite-kinetic weapons like the laser rifle.

I was fixing on making the plasma guns anyway, when I have the models for them.

Next, make a Plasma Rifle to the collection! Frying eggs has never been so easy.
And a *Black Hole Generator*! Destroying the Death Star has never been so easy.

Actually, I'm really just kidding, but a Plasma Rifle could be possible, and there are lots of "Black Hole" addons that replicate the exact thing.

Yes. It is. I went off of Fallout Equestria Wikia. When making SWeps for RP use, you gotta go in-universe lest someone complains about broken immersion.

But yes, It's a laser rifle. Fricken ponies with Fricken Laser Beams.

That's very interesting mate, I hope you keep on making them, 'cause they're really good looking for the fact that almost all of your creations are below 10 MBs, and still look extremely good.

With all I looked into with FO:E, there's no such thing as wrong answers. But the question of "how the bugger do ponies fire guns" is a bit-trigger. The pony bites down on the bit, and either squeeze with their jaw or pull the trigger with their tongue.

Other alternatives are magic, cybernetic augmentations, and some things in between. Paddle-triggers also exist, for heavier weapons that would normally need a saddle mount. If the saddle breaks, the soldier can pull the rifle off and make do as they pull back to the mechanic. Far less accurate, but it's better than being stranded without a gun.

I'm a bit of a gun nut myself, which is part of the reason why I upload these SWeps. They are interesting, both in story and in mechanics.

No joke, these pony weapons are very interesting, I can only assume it can be fired by moving the bar upwards.

To be honest, I'm in a rut. Problems uploading and updating sweps, and a severe lack of models I can use to make new ones. While I'm hammering out details as to how to fix this, I have time. Quite nice actually, a little vacation. That said, you can hang around here all you want, I have time to throw away.

I did my research here and there, and the model was more inspired by FO3, but what's the difference? Anyway, the fanfic this all came from is more derived from the FO3/NV, so when people started modeling the guns, the took more than a little inspiration from the games.

Ask me to make a M.E.R., and I would've made something more Skyrim. Maybe Dwarvern in that regard.
