Ah! The culprit was Den's "Immersive Reskin", which focuses on improvements to horse barding and facial textures of characters.

hmmm... I'll look into it. Also, you should mention that it is updated for Queen and Crone, because I didn't think it was, and didn't use this glorious mod until I noticed the avelorn icon in one your new mod's screenshots

Probably a conflicting mod. If you have a mod editing Carcassonne faction it has to be the issue.

It's an incompatibility on your end, you are probably using a mod which edits the Carcassonne Faction.

agreed with some of the others. as much as i love these banners; playing with the unlocker and/or mixu's legendary lords means a grotesque mixture of vanilla subpar banners, faces, and a handful of your beautiful works. :(

@Mad Marx Love the work man, do you know if it would be possible to extend these icons for Crynsos Faction unlocker capability? That or maybe some recolors so we don't get the abrupt change between icon and portrait in the menu?

I don't think it can be done. It would be quite complex and modders can only do so much with Total War games.

Mad Marx, I was wondering if it's possible to change the (Mortal Empires) campaign selection menu to be more inline of that of Attila. To have factions divided into culture first. Or is that impossible or too much to ask? Know of any mods out there that do? Thanks!

The original icons are just 3D portraits of the legendary lords, there's no comparison possible.
