For anyone wondering, this still works great in 2025. I was hesitant because of the last update date being 2018. I tested it by dropping the min/max time to 1/8

Can the wolf hp be reduced like 80% so that I don't need to use the same ammo to kill a drone on a single wolf? thank you

Just what the Doctor ordered! The previous poster [Bear] stated it perfectly with, "I want to live in fear not constant annoyance".

I set the wolves per pack rate to 1/5 min/max and set the spawn timer to 1800/3000 min/max(30-50 min) & the min/max spawn distance to 200/240.(Still fine tuning)

Now instead of looking over my shoulder constantly, I start getting involved with a project/repair and tend to forget about my furry buddy's for awhile.

Then I'll hear the grass rustle, a growl, and actually get startled. Their much more frightening when your not constantly reminded of them.

A "must have mod imo.

Did the wolves get buffed? I didn't play for about a year and I don't remember needing 10 clips of rifle rounds just to get them to retreat?! I unloaded three clips and there was just a tiny sliver of health gone. Are these furry creatures or tanks FFS? I mean really though, they got worse right? Like 10x stronger.

Otherwise great mod, I can finally configure the timing of these jerks to be less frequent in the mod config. I want to live in fear not constant annoyance.

It might change frequencies of wolves although you might want to run a test with a normal world without the mod and then with the mod and compare the values.
if it is generally higher (or perhaps lower) then yes, if they are the same then no.

Do wolves spawn more frequently and in larger number? after downloding this i think it went from 1 to 2 tooo 3 to 5

spawend at once? As in in one group, or in existance? Because if it's the first one, you could always just spawn like 4 groups together

The game caps how many active bots can be spawned at once, so not likely do-able (at least easily)

Most of the wolves are attacking each other can some one please help fix this? I am running other mods so i know it could be those im just not sure if theres known issues with certain mods.

Trying to change the spawn settings without luck so far
We want wolves - but we want an invasion of wolves
A pack, in large numbers, in more spaced out intervals

So far, what we have managed to get is a leaky faucet, constantly throwing 0-3 wolves, at different players, at the same time, within a few km of each other.

Someone going mining? They need a guard
People still at base at the same time, they need to be on guard, stay away from doors

Its not the killing them, or the food for DNSK
Its becoming a numb threat not a real danger.

Any settings suggestions are appreciated

They used to be able to, then Keen decided that wolves chewing their way through steel blocks was a bit too far outside the realm of believable.

Tried to, but Spiders AI don't initialize on planets where they dont naturally spawn - and I dont think they've fixed that yet

I'm fairly certain there's a hard cap that's built into the game for how many bot spawns can be present at a time. Unfortunately this mod cannot override that.

Hey there, gotta bother you again. Is there actually a had cap on how many wolves, in my case, zombies can spawn? I'm using this with Sektan's Zombie Replacer Mod, and while they do appear by the set time, they seem to spawn in much lesser amount that that i've choosen, in this case, a fixed 50. yes i was like playing zombie apocalypse engineer, though, often i only see small packs of 10 or so, and more often, specially when driving a vehicle, I just see them running about towards nowhere which is guess has nothing to do with this mod and everything to do with SE bad a.i.
