i am addicted to this E39. I drive it all day on the Nordschleife. Just this car. I cant describe how much fun it is - my favorite car in rFactor2 by far. Thanks for putting so much effort in the physics.

Absolutely great car to drive it’s really hard not to slide around and have fun really easy to control the slides and the ffb is also great and you can feel everything the car is doing helping to control the slide.

We need more street cars on rf2!
Damos Avel 21 Jul, 2022 @ 2:09am
how the factor lacks more of these cars! rfactor2 is the best driving simulator ever released, but would love to see more production cars! 😏
don_boskau 6 Jul, 2022 @ 3:11am
very low res mod. For me it absolutely kills the immersion.
Driving however is decent, but can rescue the mod for me.

Give it a try since it is for free.
Japp3 15 Sep, 2021 @ 4:59am
Yeah great car, so fun!
Thanks dylbie!
Žos 25 Aug, 2021 @ 11:38am
Thanks a lot for this car! It drive almost exactly as mine when it was stock!

Is there a way that I can some modifications and ajustments on it to make it feel exactly like mine? If so what should I do?

Thank you again!!!
marv 16 Aug, 2021 @ 1:30pm
This is a very fun car, thanks a lot. I hope it will get some love sooner or later.
comm_ander 20 Apr, 2021 @ 1:03am
Nice car man. I have notice the steering lock in the setup is 34 !!! which is too low
Zenon 15 Dec, 2020 @ 10:05pm
Great car! Thank you for the efforts and sharing. It does simulate the weight, and balance of the car origin, I think. One of the most intuitive cars to catch in oversteer in rf2. Engine sound is good, but ~50% quiter than other cars in rf2. FFB feels x1.6 stronger than in other cars. Thanks for the fun!
simon 22 May, 2020 @ 12:52pm
@dylbie thanks for your replies. I reset all setting, set the assists and it was brilliant, so I must have changed something at some point. The car is amazing, great job!
dylbie  [author] 21 May, 2020 @ 2:40pm
@simon drop us a message on www.facebook.com/rf2modding

The car is actually due an update very soon, so it would be great to hear your feedback before we release it.
simon 20 May, 2020 @ 11:50pm
@dylbie how can I get a video over to you? I'll do little video to show you the issue... But you might be right, I'll have a look at steering settings
dylbie  [author] 18 May, 2020 @ 1:54am
@simon thanks for the feedback. The behaviour your reporting doesn't sound like an issue that's been mentioned before, and certainly not what I experienced when testing. I was able to match a the behaviour of the real car at Nurburgring relatively closely so I'm wondering if your steering controller settings are out. What hardware are you using?
simon 15 May, 2020 @ 4:51am
awful! Having driven one of these on track I can compare. and I have to say, the real car can actually go into a corner at 30mph without spinning. this, every corner the back end swings out whatever speed you're doing

Overblood01 8 Jan, 2020 @ 2:25pm
FFB too strong, working in this is a fantastic job.
M.Fallon 6 Nov, 2018 @ 7:44am
Had to lower the ffb down to almost half, steering a bit heavy, apart from that very good job
shovas 5 Aug, 2018 @ 2:11pm
Difficult to drive (at least at ATLMP) but good modelling.
Xzice 3 Aug, 2018 @ 1:35pm
nice

rage33fr 8 Feb, 2018 @ 2:16am
une voiture de série un peu lourde et assez délicate à manipuler.
super travail, bravo
MUE 15 Jan, 2018 @ 10:47am
The mode is really successful. It's like it's real. :)
Will you update the mode? Will the rain effects be added?
serbPSN 14 Jan, 2018 @ 7:47pm
Is there templete for this. Would like to do a offline season with this mod
Bintang 9 Dec, 2017 @ 4:00am

i bought dozen of cars from SimDream before , i just made now a comparation with RUF CTR Yellowbird from forza and rf2 and they look dead indentical. dont buy anything from them.
dylbie  [author] 5 Nov, 2017 @ 4:28am
No Alexey this is the KarinFutoGT/Berscott original which SimDream stole, and now sell illegally.

The difference is this one has proper physics, and is FREE.
Alexey 3 Nov, 2017 @ 9:48am
ха бля. бэха simdream чтоли?? конверт из Форзы )))
Hahaha. bmw SIMDREAM.. Convert from Forza)))

Mega drift car. Сool car
dylbie  [author] 17 Oct, 2017 @ 4:30pm
Thanks for the feedback guys, this is exactly what I wanted to improve the car.

Steering: is still using the old rF1 type. Will be updated soon also chassis flex and deformable tyres are in the pipeline. Steering updates will be removed.

Some reflections are still over-saturated. I missed some from DX9.

Mirrors will need to be remapped.

Engine volume will be increased as revs get higher. Interior sounds will be reworked.

Brakes are about right. They are the weak point in the E39 M5.

PATCHEDUPDEMON I cannot reproduce your problem at all. See my video on the facebook page. No one else has reported it, so it must be your end. Maybe try installing again.
guus.vandoremalen 17 Oct, 2017 @ 2:15pm
Good starting point. Physics are ok. The breaking is as I think it should be. This is a road car not a racing care. Force Feedback is a bit dissapointing. A bit heavy compered to other cars. That is nog the biggest issue with de FFB. I can't feel any roadbumps. There is even a "real feel" option, which I don't understand why it is there. Real Feal was something for the original rFactor. In rFactor2 FFB is created completely different, so real feel doesn't make any sence.

3 other things: 1) the engine sound could be a little louder, 2) the mirror looks strange and 3) there is to much reflection on the steering weel, the rpm meter and speedometer.

@PATCHEDUPDEMON Glad you posted the bug here so the team can fix it!

If you unsub, how will you know when it's been fixed?
PATCHEDUPDEMON 17 Oct, 2017 @ 1:32am
un subbed due to every time i hit a cone, wall or any part of the track,it causes rf2 to feeze and i cant do anything but a hard reset
Danzin 15 Oct, 2017 @ 12:11pm
Superb Physics

My only problems with this car are the Mirrors and the brake
it takes a 4 hours for this car to slow down even with 100% of brake pressure (maybe it's supossed to be like this)

we need more cars like this for RF2, could only dream of the same quality in a Subaru, Evo.
RaggnaThor 15 Oct, 2017 @ 8:15am
Incredible physics.
Graphically it looks spectacular.
To improve:
Graphic mirrors and interior sounds ...
..but great work, I love it.
marv 14 Oct, 2017 @ 11:40pm
Great job. I tried it only in the Ricardo Tormo's track, but seems very well done. Thanks. :)
Karstenve 14 Oct, 2017 @ 6:56am
This is such a great car. It's really good for drifting and racing in general. :steamhappy: This car feels so nice at Zandvoort. I am trying to get it arround the nsuka track. Had no succes yet. This car has style when drifts arround the corner. I really like it
Magus 13 Oct, 2017 @ 11:32pm
Thank you for this car. The tyre scrub, the steer and counter steer controlling the car is very intuitive and natural. Was a workout to drive around Mid-Ohio but felt authentic.
Seuchensturm666 12 Oct, 2017 @ 10:37am
This M5 is really really top notch. The sound is good and the interieur sound also. The steering wheel of the e39 m5 is of course bigger than the logitech g29 wheel maybe that's the reason why the ffb on this version is stronger than in rl. I really miss my old m5. Thanks for sharing. You made me very happy. Maybe the sound could be a bit more aggressive. Keep on going good work
gonzalocasado 12 Oct, 2017 @ 2:56am
A TOPE, gracias por este coche y porque me parece un gran trabajo. FELICIDADES.
Spectator6 11 Oct, 2017 @ 9:24pm
I did notice that from a third-person perspective the tires will occasionally clip through the model, but that's not too big of a deal. Only thing that immediately stood out for improvement, but again, it's a minor thing in my opinion.
Spectator6 11 Oct, 2017 @ 9:23pm
This car is phenomenal! You guys did a great job with its handling! The sense of traction, balance, and suspension really gets conveyed through the wheel and it's an absolute joy to drive either at cruising or on the limit. Way to go!

I also really like the sounds. The squeal of the tires and clattering of debris is very convincing. Top job guys, bravo!
Spectator6 11 Oct, 2017 @ 6:05pm
Thank you for uploading to the workshop! Downloading now, going to take'er for a spin!
pedrodfa 11 Oct, 2017 @ 7:38am
incredible car, congrats.
Donnie 11 Oct, 2017 @ 5:53am
Cool to get an old BMW, it's always a great joy ^_^ (and it's DX11 ready) !
But, tyre model is not up to date !!

Thanks a lot for your work and hopping for a tyre update if you can do that. :D
dajdosta 11 Oct, 2017 @ 1:58am
Thank you. I love this car. Can't wait to try it.
Have there been any changes to physics for the steam release or just DX11?
