Androids is now supported by base CE, if you use CE version 1.7 and up you should unsubscribe from this patch.

also,could you make them able to wear backpacks or aadd a recipe like "murderbot backpack"?because they have a lot of carrying capacity but only limited bulk capacity

a request:could you fix up the body upgrades with the carrying capacity?a hulky pawn can carry less than an agile because you get carrying capacity trough speed and body size,and the "+85 carrying capacity" appears not to work

Awsome thanks, I have spotted a new thing with the core launcher. raiders that spawn with core launchers have 0 ammo. rebel pistols and rifles are fine though.

Replaced the minigun in Machinist scenario with a rebel rifle, also added missing ammo to the rest of the scenarios.

There is a slight issue with the scenario creation.
On the machinist for example there is minigun. which spawns without ammo and if a colonist picks it up then it dissapears when dropped.
I am unsure if this patch intended to re-introduce the minigun for battle droids to use. or if this was an oversight.
also the scenarios spawn guns with no ammo, which you can get around with dev mode. but i have recently permanently disabled dev mode xD

should i post now in androids mod page discussion or will this patch still be supported?

Alright, i changed the armor values, but because the droids are "fleshy", this does not work that well. I increased the parry chance instead, so they should be more effective in melee.

Battle droids don't have any defense value. They could get severe damage by several punches from human.

I'm sorry but i don't really know how to fix this, i'm not that good at coding and rimworld modding. This problem doesn't occur with loadouts though, so try using them. Again, sorry that i can't code.

It happens whenever an android or droid thinks about picking up ammo for their weapon. I can force them to pick it up just fine, but the error will pop up again when they're reloading the weapon and p much anytime ammo is involved. At least, that's what I think is happening.

Well, i do have a working a18 version, but i have been waiting for main androids mod to include nightnggale patch. As it seems that it will probably not happen anytime soon, i'll upload mine soon.
I didn't bother with balancing too much, so use at own risk.

People on the forum started to talk about this mod today and how it's an issue that it's steam only. In fact one go as far as to not use androids only due to lack of CE support for non-steam. I decided to ask for permission to upload the patch file on the forum to solve this issue, but after reading the file, I changed my mind. I will now ask for permission to slightly modify the file and then donate it to the androids mod itself. ModCheck adds enough patching features to allow adding this patch in a way where it will only be applied if it works and ignored otherwise.

I know that it will render this mod obsolete, but I want to give you full credit. I haven't said anything to @ChJees, but I don't think it will be an issue to either get the patch added to Androids or getting credit for making it.

Can I get your permission to get started?
