Not sure how active you are, having same issue as sten, cant seem to get scaling to be proper with real space and giga, love your work!

Since I might as well post it here as well, having issues trying to get elves,gigastructures, and real space system scale to work nicely together.

This mod could be an alternative to RS Scaling, but unfortunately the Elves of Stellaris patch is no longer supported by the author. If somebody else were to pick it up...

@Teneb Kel Thanks for giving us some warning. I've been grumbling about RS Scaling compatibility issues for a while now, and while everything seems to be working (rings are way to big, but hey, at least I know that's what it's "supposed" to look like and they're not floating over the planets) it might be worthwhile to start looking at alternatives.

Icen's System Scale and Beauty looks like it could be a viable alternative, but they haven't updated their Elves of Stellaris patch since 2018 (despite ISSB being updated just this week). That's maybe the ONE thing preventing me from making the switch, Elves of Stellaris is a must-have for me.

If you use Real Space only, then definitely yes, it is obsolete.
If you use Real Space - System Scale addon, then you still need this patch to fix misplaced Avari Rings and Shields.

I've just updated it, but we'll be gradually dropping Real Space support due to its author's... questionable monetization policy. The next time RS changes its system scale again (and if that happens) we'll probably not update.

Greetings, And thank you for the creation of this awesome mod! I love it and wish to keep playing with it. However I have a request. After the recent Megacorp update I feel as though the game went a poor direction design wise. Portrait sizes are to small and many other things. As such I am playing with version 2.1.3 before the update. If possible can I have access to the mod version that supports V 2.1.3? I have a “Moe Mod Compilation” That it is apart of that I wish to keep playing with. That's a Real Space feature. We don't override RS defines.

No, not until updated. If you want to play with RS and EoS enabled right now, disable this patch. Spacing in our systems will be a bit off and you won't see RS systems for elves, but the game will be playable.

Absolutely. Besides, with all our system initializer changes (and potential new Real Space mechanics) I think I'll be rewriting this patch from scratch.

Does this mod create a ring world visual bug where the regular ones you build are spaced out too much? I mean they still work but its like a large broken up ring instead of the four parts. Just checking, trying to find the source of the issue.

So cool Teneb thank you very much. These screenshots look amazing. I have a neat one of an upclose view of the Elevn Habitat which really rocks. Now if the game devs would only do something about that late game lag. I think people are looking in the wrong place. It is not a graphics issue like many think. It is a end of the month calculation proably a redundancy in the code. There has got to be a better way to code that to reduce that calculaion. Ive tried different saized maps but it still keeps happening late in game. Just too much for the computations to handle I think. I am no code expert but I dabble a little. I am more of a level designer. I am thinking about doing my own mod here soon. It seems to happen once the map has been fully explored and puplualted. Then it just degrades after that.
