The one thing that would make this map perfect is rivers.

One more thing I forgot to mention! The one thing above all that this map needs is the Columbia and Willamette Rivers, up near Portland. It's an important geographical feature of the Pacific Northwest.

This map is really good and I'm happy to play it, especially because I live in Portland. I'm a little disappointed that there's a lot of empty space between Portland and San Fran, and Portland/Seattle and Boise. Some cities I wish were there: Victoria, Salem, Eugene, Medford, Spokane, and Sacramento (Sacramento is a huge rail hub for Amtrak IRL). However, I do understand that that would require much extra work and the map would only fit a few of those cities, and there's still a lot more left like Olympia and Tacoma.

I will subscripe to this but I will use european terrain so it is green. I lived in Whashington and it is green. Now I live in SLC and it is also green. The devs mddoled the usa version after the old west and that was to start Oaklahoma and such. I don't think they relized just how much OF North America is greenary.

Is there any chance you could upload a version of this map without industry?

Im an L.A guy so this is perfect for me and i've been up the coast to oregon and into salt lake city utah.

I have a farm in the place where Idaho Falls should be. Sometimes I do that. Putting a resorce where there's a city, so the cities don't get bunched up.

can you add at least idaho falls?

I probably won't be adding a lot more cities, there are already 24. If you pack them in too close, people won't commute, plus you get more money for longer runs. At least Boise is there, I didn't even have that originally. :)

Good Area for a map.

Always like to see new additions to Workshop. Any chance you could provide a bit more info, such as image of overall map, size of map, maybe even number of cities. The 2nd and 3rd items have effect on computer resource usage and late game playability.
