the main reason i named it that way was because i wanted to make a science fiction based collection. just as coridium named his collection asiimov after the scifi author isaac asimov. the 2 i's were chosen because he didn't want to run into copyright trouble. james tiptree jr also was a scifi author, so it's both a hommage to coridium and her.
