this works with left4bots2. Disable "load_convars" in the settings and it should work.

Can you make a version where they don't continue after you die? It's completely useless as it makes them not really work and they can get stuck. And i also don't want the bots to beat the game for me anyways

Bots are not good using melee, you should stay away from that.

I just hope they can take melee as well tho

This mod is good, i know how to tweak the convars myself. But i don't know how to make the bots to stop using pills with green health.

Its amazing when your getting pounded by a hunter, they almost aim for you instantly but everything else seems to fall short. If anything, it seems to be worse than default in some case due to them wanting to melee a horde, hitting once and waiting for 3-5 sec before hitting again.

The addon worked great!
When I reached the safe zone, I got surprised that the bots closed the door.
The only problem is that they separate from the group which is not a big of a problem but sometimes annoying.

This mod was pretty muck okay until the updates where they were just standing there without a care in the world after a tank appeared, beating the living sh*t out of them. They also can't grab a medkit or pills/adrenaline shots despite being near proximity or I ordered them to grab it.

@Soul_Less I think they only used medkits if they run out of pills/adrenaline shots, at least in my experience.

Way too often have i experienced bots with this mod enabled, to just stand and getting beaten by commons without shoving or shooting them at all.

I have also experienced them getting hurt to the brink of death without healing, despite them having a kit, me having a kit and enough health to survive.

Bots seem happy to abandon weapons with laser sights most of the time, this mod doesn't affect weapon choice/preference though.
Bots do have innate weapon preferances depending on their character, they may be unwilling to abandon their preference sometimes. Think I may be able to change this preference so that all of them prefer high-end weapons regardless of character.

I did do this once, but bots with melee tend to just run into hordes and get themselves killed, or otherwise be ineffective at overall defense. To my knowledge you need sourcemod to have bots use grenades (and a mod like this exists, used in some community servers)

I use Smart Bots and they can use melee weapons. Best mod I have found so far

Hey man, I found problems where the survivors grab shotguns at the beginning of the map and some of the survivors didn't replace their middle weapons to high-end weapons after they got laser sights. Are those bugs?

I'm working on a fix right now, the update must have simply done major changes to gamemodes.txt, the only file this mod changes. Also I'll look into the nb_saccade_speed (incompetent SI) issue though I considered it fixed.
