Amazing logic!

Nice one indeed. The sneaky move took me quite a bit of time, mainly because I assumed the gel had enough momentum to stick to the bottom of the bridge =P . I mean, your difficluty-to-time conversion formula consistently makes me feel stupid, so no surprises here =)

Nice one ! I'm glad I didn't struggle with it.

@Steve3Dx Thanks for playing :]
Steve3Dx 2 Oct, 2021 @ 12:18pm
crazy
Mikeastro  [author] 17 Sep, 2020 @ 1:43am
@bullfrog Thanks for replaying a few more! I still quite like the move you are referring to :]
bullfrog 17 Sep, 2020 @ 12:43am
I think this was the first time that I'd came across 'that move' - it all seems so easy now, but not when you've never seen 'that move' before.
Mikeastro  [author] 19 Jul, 2020 @ 6:51am
@BehindPortal I feel like a broken record, but... Thanks for playing :D
BehindPortal 19 Jul, 2020 @ 6:50am
evil mind idea. :p2cube:
Mikeastro  [author] 5 May, 2020 @ 1:44pm
Haha naw I would have understood :p I might remake this one some day. There's definitely many things that could be improved
Teo 5 May, 2020 @ 12:58pm
Oops that was a misclick :O I wouldn't be that cruel
Mikeastro  [author] 5 May, 2020 @ 12:57pm
@Teo Yeah you probably can, more floor should be grated to prevent some gel placements. Stone cold unfav tho xD
Teo 5 May, 2020 @ 12:54pm
I'm replaying some of my favorited maps; with some careful movement you can complete this without using the perma-button or ever setting foot on the lightbridge :p
Mikeastro  [author] 2 Jan, 2020 @ 3:39pm
@Spider_Dawg Thank you very much once again! The move you described is indeed the subtlest in the map. And yeah, the original rating of 8/10 was given by a man who thought he was close to the only one in the community making non-trivial puzzles, someone who had no idea what else was out there, and thus wrongfully assumed that it would not be possible to push this game much further... How wrong that man was :P At the time of writing, my puzzle Butterfly and the fourth room of my map Indecision have the highest ratings of 7.5/10 of all my maps, but I hope to someday create something even more complex than those two >:)
Spider_Dawg 2 Jan, 2020 @ 2:12pm
Very nice puzzle. Although I don't think that there is anything here I haven't seen before, it still took me an embarrassingly long time to see how to get the cube off of the button . I think that it is a bit funny that you originally rated this 8/10 even though it is more challenging than most of your puzzles I've played from this era. You've certainly evolved your puzzle making skills since then and a true 8/10 @Mikeastro puzzle would be something I can't solve.
Mikeastro  [author] 14 Sep, 2019 @ 4:27pm
I see where you're coming from, but the very long antlines and funky position of the cube dropper button still bother me a bit. If I could make the connections shorter I would seriously consider redoing it, but if I don't see a way to do that then I agree that it would not be worth it
stormsend 14 Sep, 2019 @ 4:22pm
You know you can shave a little space here and there but I've not seen anyone complaining about the size. I find that I invariably make my maps too small. They are so hard to modify without affecting something else and the cascade begins. So.....if it works, don't fix it. Just my opinion.
Mikeastro  [author] 14 Sep, 2019 @ 4:05pm
@stormsend Thanks for playing once more! It's indeed a little bit sneaky. I've been toying with the idea of maybe remaking this one. I think I could get it to be a bit smaller and smoother
stormsend 14 Sep, 2019 @ 3:53pm
Very well done. Unfortunately too well for me. I could not get past putting the cube on the ceiling button. Played around for a long time and could not get to the pedestal button. Thanks for helping me stretch my mind. Even when I don't make it I still gain. Good looking map.

@Mikeastro
I don't think I've set up VOD saving yet :0 but I'll get around to that today
Mikeastro  [author] 30 Jun, 2019 @ 3:00am
@Teo ooh streaming! Any chance of being able to watch is back?
Teo 29 Jun, 2019 @ 7:24pm
i was streaming and was too lazy
Nobody No-One 29 Jun, 2019 @ 7:23pm
without commenting, how sneaky
Teo 29 Jun, 2019 @ 7:23pm
i see gud map i favorite
Mikeastro  [author] 29 Jun, 2019 @ 8:41am
ah that explains it :p (@Teo Thanks :D) When I made the map I had just barely started playing any serious puzzles so I honestly thought this was ''quite challenging'' and worth 8/10. Suffice it to say I came around
Nobody No-One 29 Jun, 2019 @ 6:39am
'cause Teo favorited it, so I looked at it and thought it was funny that the description said "quite challenging" (and, iirc, the difficulty used to be listed at 8/10), but your most recent comment said "not very hard".
Mikeastro  [author] 29 Jun, 2019 @ 2:27am
why are you here
Nobody No-One 28 Jun, 2019 @ 9:09pm
"quite challenging"
Mikeastro  [author] 4 Oct, 2018 @ 11:08pm
@Requiemsoul Thanks, indeed this one is not very hard
Requiemsoul 4 Oct, 2018 @ 6:27pm
Good map. Easier one than Vector or Canonical.
Mikeastro  [author] 25 Jun, 2018 @ 11:33pm
@Joric Very well! Thanks for the video; good to see my solution is so far still the only one :)
Joric 25 Jun, 2018 @ 5:37pm
Lol, it's precisely Lapicidas, every small detail (except rewind). Must be a good map then.
Joric 25 Jun, 2018 @ 5:16pm
Made it pretty quickly and without peeking. Quickrun https://youtu.be/FbpiEyjfYZ4
Mikeastro  [author] 25 Jun, 2018 @ 3:37am
@bullfrog Thank you very much :) Good job on figuring it out so quickly!
bullfrog 25 Jun, 2018 @ 1:21am
...oh, and, yet another one, added to favourites.
bullfrog 25 Jun, 2018 @ 1:19am
...checked and did it the same as @lapicidas :)
bullfrog 25 Jun, 2018 @ 1:14am
Excellent puzzle with really clever use/reuse of elements. I was surprised that I didn't find it all that difficult, but perhaps I was lucky as I guessed right first time on how to get up to the laser field off button.
Mikeastro  [author] 17 Jun, 2018 @ 3:23am
@Nobody No-One Thanks! I think many players will be caught off guard by that :)
Nobody No-One 16 Jun, 2018 @ 6:54pm
Clever. The main challenge, of course, is getting to the pedestal button. I thought I was basically done and then I realized the lightbridge is in the way! Thumbs up.

@jandlml I'm so glad to keep seeing your comments! Really happy that you are enjoying my puzzles :D

@leomievs Thank you! I'm quite fond of this one myself as well :)
Leo 5 Apr, 2018 @ 3:12pm
Wow! That was my favourite puzzle of yours so far! Almost gave up several times, but now that I defeated the Demon I'm so glad I held on. Added to my favourites!

That was the hardest chamber I have ever completed good job.
Mikeastro  [author] 3 Jan, 2018 @ 6:15am
Thank you for the video lapicidas! Your solution was absolutely perfect!
lapicidas 2 Jan, 2018 @ 10:34pm
Cool map, very tricky !! Of course thumbs up.
The probably intended solution, except the funny funnel - swirl ;-)
