The dream world was infernally difficult. Loved it! My only complain is the jump after the gears, very frustrating but I loved the level anyways!

I always wanted to try this level, it always looked so frantic and fun to try. Fantastic restoration!

At first i read the totem and i was drawn out by the "hardcore level"
When you enter, that vaporwave music (nice touch) comes in and you gaze upon the skies... It was truly terrific.

But nonetheless i finished in an hour, i thought i would spent more time in that. The first section and the last i did first try :) im pretty satisfied.

Taking in consideration my years of platforming skills, i assure you that if you are not so good with video games, this level is gonna be a full completed pack of pain in the ass. Good luck and much love, people!

Trying to get through the first couple turning areas made me notice a problem with my controls and I want to know if it's this way for everyone.

So here I am jumping and diving across this spinning block and I have the time-stop hat on. I keep trying to activate it and nothing happens.

I eventually figure out that, both from the controller and from the keyboard:
1: during a dive or even after it you can't use a hat until you jump.
2: if you crouch, you can't use a hat, even if you let go of the crouch trigger or control key, it won't let you use a hat until you're all the way back up.

Maybe one problem with testing after diving is that you land on your stomach which is similar to crouching. But even if it won't let you use a hat when you're lying on your stomach, it seems clear that you can't use a hat while diving either.

If you're doing a long jump [jump-jump-dive-jump] you can use a hat right after the final jump part.

an absolute blast understandably taken out of the base game but super glad it ended up being revived as a stand alone mod

Gotta admit that "extra difficult" warp section... well... the mushroom part felt like pure luck. Since the mushrooms had 0 bounce height, half the time by the time I was able to jump again off a bounce I would already be below the other mushrooms, or the spider in the middle wouldn't drop fast enough for me to bounce off of and continue. I was just throwing Hat Girls against the wall for that part until something stuck, which it eventually did but at no part of that mushroom section did I feel like it was more skill than luck, just mainly luck to carry me through. The rest of it was good, felt like a good trial for the time stop hat considering that a lot of parts spun faster than Hat Girl could physically keep up with on her own.

This might be the loudest level I've played, lol. Had to turn the game volume way lower for this one than I do for other levels.

Finally a level that is hard af. Had to play for 1 1/2 hours to complete that one. Nice job on this stage!

It's because a lot of assets / code were changed and the mods that were cooked before then are trying to reference things that either don't exist anymore or were moved. Once all modders "re-cook" their mods, everything should work again as normal such as missing Time Pieces and weird materials. Glad you enjoyed the terror :)

This is a really good level. I enjoyed it a lot, even though I went through the warp zone by accident the first time and was stuck on those godforsaken mushrooms for so long the spider got turned around and wouldn't drop anymore. :steamsad: The main level (which has considerably more fair mushrooms) was very well made and definitely made up for the half-hour of hopeless spasming over mushrooms that don't bounce higher than their own crown. 10/10

I don't think the warp zone was part of the original level back in the beta, as all the videos i've seen of it from before don't have that stone at the beginning to warp you there

Also, the ending of the warp zone is really weird, and I've literally found no info online about what it is, and I have no clue about what its supposed to be or mean

Nice Level!

I did, however, cheese most of the warp zone with the Wing Cap, and as for that section with Timmy and the unsettling part after, was that also part of the original level, or was that custom-made? Also, was there something extra with the timepiece I got by lighting one of the candles?

I got it to work! It crashed the game the first time I tried to load it from the mod menu, but the second time I instead loaded it with the "Next Map" option after finishing another mod. It loaded and played flawlessly.

Challenging and fun! I wish it was a bit more consistent with block color / type. Sometimes red blocks disappear, sometimes they don't, sometimes yellow blocks disappear, etc.

Fun, and while it might be an element of the original beta map... the mushrooms really are too small a target as this game doesn't really make it clear where you're landing a lot of the time. You can't really lose much progress, but it still got annoying.

The mushrooms were indeed a bit vexing, but the reward was definitely more than the difficulty warranted. Also no damage from falling and that many checkpoints? Still, fun map.

Yeah, I shouldn't've picked it up but come on. I'm mostly criticizing it though because I don't want it to be a trend. Happening once isn't a big deal but when everyone starts doing it, the entire point of keeping track is destroyed.

Like how there are so many LittleBigPlanet levels that just throw score bubbles at you constantly so you mostly stop caring about getting 'em.
