yep. i got it used. i wonder if it's cracked or something? Like i said all my computer's memory is in another drive. I added it through the "add your own games" but nothing seems to make it work.

i don't suppose you have this on nexus mods?

@emilin_rose: Huh. Even retail copies of the game should require you to install through Steam. Is this the ultimate edition or something, maybe it's different? Tried putting your CD key into steam via "Activate a Product on Steam" in the games menu?

@webster okay i can't figure out how to run it through steam. i had to install it in a different directory, in the f: drive(for some reason ALL my memory is there :/) i used the little link to install your own games in the library but i still can't download this and its a shame because i want it a lot.

@emilin_rose, Skyrim is a steamworks game on PC so it doesn't matter where you bought it from, it'll run through Steam. Unfortunately, it is currently impossible to mod the console versions.

@sggaghetc: Well, it's not supposed to! This is merely the restoration of the Khajiit ability from Morrowind and Oblivion because it seems unlikely that they've forgotten how to do it in the interim...

with cirlets of power, you never need to dual cast an illusion spell again, always keeping a hand free in combat.

Doesn't really stand out from a fully-amped dual casted fear spell, especially when competeing against "enchant spell potency and damage", aka "circlets of power"

@Hope: Unfortunately, this mod will conflict with any other mod that alters the KhajiitRace record. It's possible that the spell was added to your game even if it wasn't applied to your character, however. Try typing help "eye of fear" (No square brackets) into the console and then doing player.addspell XX000D63 where XX is the mod's position in your load order (found with the help command used previously).

I have a character that's of a mdoded khajiit race but stufflike this doesn't get applied to her. Is there any way for me to apply this in the console?

According to the description page of Power of the Black Claw, this is included and you won't need to download and enable this mod as well. I still appreciate your ratings if you like it! :)

@rb256: I believe that this is actually INCLUDED in the Power of the Black Claw! The author contacted me some time ago about it. I'm not certain if they got around to implementing it or not. Either way, you shouldn't run this mod alongside the other one as they both modify KhajiitRace and are incompatible.

Note that loading this mod later will override ALL of the changes that the other one makes in the KhajiitRace record. Skyrim's kinda all or nothing about such things.

@MrMeows: If that mod affects the KhajiitRace record (and it probably does, by the sound of it) then it will conflict with this one - two mods can't modify the same record. To test, you could try disabling that mod, rolling up a new Khajiit character and seeing if the power is applied correctly. If it is that mod, you can load this one later and it will override the options in Racials Redone.

Confirmed that Eye of Fear is adding to Khajiit characters and appears to be operating correctly in 1.9.32.0.8.

The power is not in my powers list. I'm guessing this is because I got the mod after I made my character. Can you add some way to learn it later? One way I know of that works is to make a spell tome but not set the school of magic, thereby causing it to default to powers.

@Hiro: I've just tested this with a brand new Khajiit character created without the plugin enabled, saving and then loading with the plugin enabled. It adds the power correctly, so I'm unable to duplicate the problem. Are you or have you ever used a mod which might alter the KhajiitRace record on those existing characters?

The spell ID is XX000D63 with XX being dependant on the mod's position in your load order. Try typing into the console:
help "Eye of Fear"
which should show you the correct ID for your game under the 'SPEL' category.

Giving the ID for the power would be helpful. For me it's only appearing on new Khajiit characters, not my existing one. I'd like to add it via console to them.

Uhu. =3 I knew that that was the issue, and tried to manually make a merged mod with both your mod and the BRSMod. But didn't work. So I that's why I knew I was looking in the right direction, but evidently do not have the experience to actually pull it off by myself... "^.^

My first Elder Scrolls game was Morrowind, and always chose the Khajiit race for my char. =3
So I always used the Eye of Fear to get out of a tight spot with the wildlife of Morrowind. ^w^

@Aerix: I'm glad you got it working! Beast Race Speed Modifier presumably modifies the KhajiitRace entry which is what was breaking compatability. There's no reason they shouldn't work together if merged though.
