it's so fun!
(I know it looks god-awful. So feel free to talk sxxt about it.)

Gonna have to look at that at some point probably, yeah. Though i'd imagine by default the few pre-stacked crates/barrels and doing a 100% clean of the level should nullify the score-down from the mops, and get you a 100% or higher? Even moreso if you stack all the other crates into their relevant zones.
Anyway this was an amazing map. You definitely outdid yourself with this one. I especially loved the ability to just stick everything into the gravity stream and have it ferried back to the incinerator pool (although I didn't figure out I could do that until I was more than halfway done, when a Chinese food box fell out of one of my bins and I couldn't figure out where the hell it went) instead of having to lug it back through the narrow corridors.
One issue, though:
-"TNT sticks and the iron mops count as trash. Make sure to remove them."
There are two of those metal mops outside of the map right next to the locked "door" next to the punchomatic along with some other stuff. If those count as "trash" then they're impossible to deal with where they are.
Here ya go CarThief! Enjoy the shenanigans Deadman, Jacob and I have gone through in this map. ;P
Sure was a pain to update though, having to wait 1.5 hours as my computer slowed to a crawl during the light-building part... (And that was on the MINIMAL settings!)
Ah well, some good but low-tech games help pass the time during that... :P
Oh well, should i not forget (again) i'll get that fix uploaded soonish. That way rock spawners should spawn rocks more frequently too.
If all that doesn't work maybe you need to reinstall the game (may want to backup save files just in case they get deleted though they ussually don't).
But if it's not that, then its probably all the particle effects i put into the map, you could mess around with the settings see if any of them reduce the particles to something more managable. That or it's the fog, heavy fog is suprisingly laggy, especially when looking into the lava pit (had to remove some of it since it even lagged me). No idea if that has any options to reduce it, though...
Too much of the same thing does kinda get boring so i take breaks, or try a different theme/gimmick. Don't think i'd be cut out for an actual job in that department though, i can't really force my creativity, a interesting idea just pops up one day, and i give it a go. So i'll probably just stick to good ol modding stuff instead. :P
Don't have to worry about stuff like balancing, or other game design things, i can just go all-out on detailing the map. Great as a time-killing side project too. Though now i'm kinda running out of ideas so it might be a while until the next map, if ever.
Though i did hear of some site or tool that can download files from Steam Workshop, letting you install the files manually. I just don't know what it's called, though... But maybe you can find it through google or something?
Maybe try right clicking Viscera, going to Properties > Local Files, and Verify Cache Integrity? That will (re)download any broken/missing files, probably workshop files too. Or try restarting Steam or even your computer. You could also try unsubscribing and resubscribing from the map (maybe that doing that will trigger the download), you should probably try that first.
Those are the usual tricks to solve problems, one of em should work, i hope.
Loved it!
And it could be fun for some to try and hold off the incoming rocks by blasting them with the Welder or using the J-HARM to block them. Two well-placed J-HARMS at the bridge/catwalk can stop most rocks from passing through, it would seem.
will play this o e later:)
