That river is my enemy, my arch nemesis, yet it also provides me with water and sewage disposal, nurtures me.
I like this map.
It's very hard for me to be able to diagnose your issue from here. You can help me narrow things down by describing what happens / what you see when things go wrong. For example the game hangs then crashes, buildings in an area flicker like crazy when you are at a certain distance, error messages like "Null Object Reference" which don't allow you to play the game at all... things like this. So can you tell me what happens to you?
I hope I can help you get back to enjoying the game! :)
The reason the other line ends early is to "make them work for it" ;) There's not much in this map that limits your options but where you expand to will make differences in how your city pans out. Makes it replayable, too
Not that that detracts from the map! I'm just wondering if your intention was for the player to connect that southern-sourced line to the start-square line, then continue it once one builds east of the river.
I continue to be amazed at what you and the other modders are capable of.
How to easily find out what's up without any computer knowledge: Loading Screen Mod is a safe mod that, while your game is loading, shows you how much RAM you're using and any other errors with assets as well. Watch while the game loads. If the RAM goes into the red, that's your cause of the crashes.
The other 10% would be a mod issue. Unsub from the most recent mods you've subscribed to, restart the game.
In my case, I asked the creator to redo the asset with standard size LOD textures and they did! Really nice. Now I can use the asset and I don't have assets disappearing or turning black once they're at a distance. I hope it's as easy as this
Cool @mr.ѵ !!
Here's Newbie Harbor - it would be easier than this map for sure. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1903141654
Vanilla Coast is also made to be an easier map for a beginner. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1130118928
I hope those help you out!
