Never done any kind of TTS / Blender work before but following some tutorials I was able to create a replacement model using the existing image assets with Blender and wanted to share it back to the community:

Not sure how to incorporate the change into the mod itself but you can replace the url when prompted. Once all have been updated, save the changes into a Saved Object and than delete and load each time you start a new game. Tedious but workable. Hope this helps others who want to use this mod.

Seems like this is completely broken. "new blackhole sector" wont load, which then breaks the entire sector deck

seem to be having trouble with tiles snapping properly. at times we cannot get a map tile to "fall in" correctly when there are others around it. I have snap enabled and lock tiles when it successfully fits, still run into the issue

very quick update, even playing the vanilla dlc, i am getting the same issues, armed markers are just squares etc, everything is going thru the table

so i love this game, i havent played it in a whuile, and when i tried to the other workshop mod broke, and when i loaded in your mod, none of the textures loaded, and none of the cargo cubes work. and i didnt get any import issues or anything

I seem to be having an issue with the NPCs at set-up. I press the NPC button to cycle through Enforcer, Merchant, and Scoundrel, but once placed on the game board, the other two NPC ships no longer spawn. Any thoughts?

What saves you the most time?

I've loved what you've done with this expansion and honestly don't mind either way, just as long as it doesn't burn you out! Thanks again for keeping active with this mod.

Public Poll: Expansion content has been moved to more intuitive locations. New ship abilities have been integrated. We are waiting on expansion ship integration, which is in the works.

Do you guys want an update that just contains expansion ship abilities integration and a better thought out expansion equipment setup at the player console?

Or would you rather wait until the new expansion ships are fully integrated as well?

Reply "Yes" if you want the unfinished update now.

Reply "No" if you'd rather wait and see the update dropped when fully completed.

PSA: A large update is coming that will hopefully integrate all the expansion content seamlessly with the script. No more manual placement of new ships or ship abilities. This will also include a small tweaking of where the expansion parts and equipment will appear on your player console. Attempts are being made to make expansion content more intuitive, and have a more natural feel.

there was a comment that i accidentally deleted. however i remember the comment. to who ever asked if they were doing something wrong.... yes you were. you dont need to load the original dlc first. just load the this mod and done. i cant remember who you were but thanks for commenting.

Thanks so much for your hard work @Darkindica! I'm grateful that we're able to play Embers of a Forsaken Star on TTS! I hope that the following comments can help to improve future iterations of the project, should there be any:

(1) Spreading the new mods over 4 different areas feels very clunky and unintuitive. I found the Armor Plating and Cargo Pod mods without problem. However, the 1x1 mods that are camouflaged against the black bezels took me awhile to find (to the point that I reloaded my game twice thinking the pieces had failed to load). In Zero's original design, all of the mods are grouped together to the right, making for a more cohesive and visually intuitive user experience.

(2) Neither the base DLC nor Zero's original expansion required Drift Sector pieces to be flipped immediately after drawing them. Having to flip every Dirft Sector feels redundant. It doesn't add additional tension or suspense.

At some point the new content will be added to the scripting to function more naturally. But it's not high on the priority list at this time, and the game functions fine without scripting additions. sorry for any inconvenience this may cause to your playing experience.

@Kes as well there is a deck in your player area with the 6 added abilities, that you can manually place in the play area.

@Kes yes all new embers content is included. If you look near the ships log instruction manuals you'll notice two boxes with the xia logo on them. Additional content resides in those boxes. Added ships arent worked into the script, so they wont show in the ship selector. just manually place the ship card on your designated area, lock it in place and grab the appropriate ship icon that goes with it. Additional ship mods are at your player area to the right and left of the original mod storage draws in the form of infinite bags shaped like the mod. Hope this helps.

I've just loaded this and I'm trying to work out if I'm doing it wrong or if they're not in it yet. Does this have the mission and ship abilities expansion in it as well? Also does it have the outfit mods?

@geekgeek. no there is not. Id have to have 2 complete decks. One with tooltip info one without, and the mod is already very heavy. What you can do is make your own deck for this purpose. right click a card, delete the description at the bottom. do this for all cards and save them to a seperate file that you can spawn into the mod once loaded.

@Darkindica thanks for a great mod to the official DLC! Just to confirm, for solo play setup, there's no way to "hide" the names of the random tiles I draw for the initial setup? Not really a big deal i guess, just wanted to know for sure

@ampoliros, there is no malicious content in this mod. If you find yourself playing it frequently, I believe you can set a exclusion in malware bytes. So it will no longer flag.

Without pictures, I can't know for sure if this is the same mod I played last night.
But, Malware Bytes kept telling me it was blocking the malicious website "paste.ee" every time an exploration token was put on the board. This resulted in the asset for the token not being loaded in my client. So, all I saw was a tiny little dot and the other players had to manipulate the exploration tokens for me, since I could not grab them, even if I zoomed in to see the tiny dot.

Hello. The DLC seems well made, but I ran into a problem that I dont know how to sort out. I'm trying to play solo, but I can't access more than one NPC ship at a time (via the scripted NPC Area). I can't duplicate them and put them out on the board for example. Any help is appreciated!

@proffejor i found no issue with the exploration tokens. Please be assured you are always using the workshop file and not a saved local file for best performance.

@shawofit it seems the shader error is not effecting anything. please note the game board is very large. refer to keybinds for tabletop simulator to learn how to zoom in on objects for better visibility.

So I looked into the shader error. Its coming from the original DLC which I can not fix. If I load the original DLC without my mod, I get the same error. Please submit a ticket to Tabletop Simulator, hopefully they will fix it promptly if they get enough complaints.

Getting error 'shader didn't load correctly for AssetBundle material arcane. Assigning standard shader'.

Hey I love the game and think the mod looks amazing, but my exploration tiles seem to be broken. I really want to play this one with the expansion, as it adds so much to the base game. (I actually have a physical copy, but I want to play with my Corona quarantined friends and family.)

Hey, I'm working on a solo setup save file to upload. I've removed the tool tip for the sector tiles(laughs) and set the missions/event decks. I also copy paste delete that vortex behind the tile bag/vortex to another spot on the console( i didn't know what it was) to handle the rules for setup 1.1. Search tile vortex for loath/keplar if they aren't out, drop them into this secondary vortex, add five sectors at random, shuffle and use it for your first draws. But now my head hurts and I will start again tomorrow.

These cards are in desperate need of a sharpening filter, readable but not comfortably.

That said, this is a very good expansion mod overall.
