After building in a new HD, I did a complete reinstall of rFactor 2, only to notice that the Subaru Levorg and Vauxhall Astra are no longer available in the NGTC-mod. That's a bit of a bummer to me, since 90% of all my rFactor2 activity was for this awesome mod only. Is there someone who can help me out on why this is happing and on what I can do to solve this. Kind regards and thanks in advance.

I assume i was talking about the Dedi settings. We ran 10 min races and the Tyres on NORMAL wear out pretty quick but these guys were smashing the front end as in they were just flooring it as soon as they could and hoped for the best.

Hi Racecentre,
I assume you are referring to the tyre wear multiplier that is set in the dedicated server? If that is the case, then no it hasn't changed.
If you're referring to something in a JSON (or similar) file, i have no idea what i would even be looking for. That's outta my league.
Xzanman 19 Nov, 2022 @ 2:51pm
any chance of doing the UI icons?
SimHaus SERVER 3 Sep, 2022 @ 9:40pm
English1977. Have the Tyre Wear settings changed in your game ??
English1977 29 Aug, 2022 @ 12:49pm
Since the v1.01 update, is anyone else having difficulty keeping the tyres in a sensible working range?
I never had a problem with the v0.99 cars, but now I reach the half way point of a race (usually lap 8 in BTCC) and the tyres overheat and their performance drops off a cliff.
SimHaus SERVER 28 Aug, 2022 @ 1:14am
Thankyou . That's awesome !!. I have made the cars for the Overlay. I need to contact them to share it with them but they are not answering my messages.

Hi Matt,

As far as I am aware the BMW 125 was never part of this package. It belongs to M1K3, I believe.
Matt Ransley 22 Jul, 2022 @ 8:50am
is there any reason the BMW 125 is being deleted upon launching rFactor 2 ? It was fine until a few days ago
MrBTCC_Server 17 Jul, 2022 @ 3:35am
Racecentre.com SERVER, I believe the answer to your question is no. No differences between seasons apart from the lovely season liveries. Hope that answers your question :-)
SimHaus SERVER 29 Jun, 2022 @ 9:48pm
Hi All, Does anyone know if there is a difference of BOP between the seasons? I've asked via their FB page but have not had a response.

Never ever posted a comment on Steam before but I feel like I need to. I downloaded this mod today, meant to spend 45min on it. 4hr later, I finally appear again. Absolutely love it. Tried a variety of tracks inc the Nord and its excellent

IMPORTANT: Next Generation Modding Team: How can i contact you without a Facebook account? When Sam Osbourne came to BTCC in his first season Tool Maniacs created Sam Osbourne's skin in RF2 for his MG6 to see how the car would look on track with the other cars. I approached Tool Maniacs at the time and asked for the skin which they gave me. I would like to get permission from Tool Maniacs so this skin can be packaged along side the other skins in your NGTC mod but i need a way of contacting you other than Facebook. PM on Steam and I will make contact with Tool Maniacs to get permission.

Are you going to introduce in this mod the rest of the cars that are missing, such as the Audi RS3, VW Passat CC, BMW 116i, etc? Thank you.

this mod is fantastic! can't wait for 1.0 version!
StrawmanAndy  [author] 26 Jan, 2021 @ 8:25am
Just update, we've made a public post on Facebook and s397 forum regarding new changes coming. These include new FFB, new FWD physics and fixing some aggressive behaviour with them. We've equally updated regarding new projects, like the ST. We'll be aiming to get a new physics update out before March time. Thanks for your patience

@StrawmanAndy any chance that gloves could be added to the extras so we can paint them? or if anyone knows of a way to get them to work? I've tried all EXTRA0-9 but no luck. Got helmet and suit working in mas and would be great to get the gloves changed from the default light grey (using VR!) - thanks and keep up the fantastic wok guys
说我名字 say my name 3 Nov, 2020 @ 5:20pm
I went in with default settings for Thrustmaster TMX and it also feels like the FFB is sort of "reversed". I feel like the FFB is making things more difficult instead of helping to understand what the car is doing.. I'm sure if I delved deep into the FFB settings I could adjust this, but out of the box it doesn't really work well. Just my 2 cents, no hate on the mod.

Am i doing something wrong can i get more than 220kph ?

This car feels like it needs another gear, wow sounds and drives great
Brownmipants 30 Sep, 2020 @ 1:28pm
being able to select AI by year rather than type would be good. Other than that, fun mod.
BeGee 20 Sep, 2020 @ 1:57pm
These are awesome. Would make sense to have the opponents filter by year instead of car. Being BTCC, users are more inclined to run a mixed grid with with ai performance dictated by a talent file per season rather than by car type. My workaround right now is making a race event series instead of manually adding ai each session.

can you do jason plato and rob colard vauxhall astra from 2019 please

Please let us adjust the seat however we want; I'm as far forward as possible and I feel like I'm sitting in the back seat! Otherwise, it's a good mod, thanks.

Why rear ARB only 34Nm?
MaR4uDer 1 Jul, 2020 @ 1:08am
Great mod, good driving, a lot of fun, I wish that someday you would include the Audi RS3, BMW 120i, Honda Civic FK2 / FK3 and FK8, and finally the Volkwagen Passatt CC, thank you.
echo_mike_sierra 17 Jun, 2020 @ 9:34am
I can't figure out how to get an AI field of just one years cars...it will only allow me to select by car model which includes every year's version.

Fantastic to drive though!
StrawmanAndy  [author] 10 Jun, 2020 @ 11:38am
@Wolke Do they like the s397 Civic? Nothing has been changed to the FFB settings from 0.95 to 0.99, just new tyres
Wolke 9 Jun, 2020 @ 11:18pm
I second that. The FFB is weird, i have to reduce CsMp to 0,5 (CSW 2.5) and reduce Diffload to get a decent feeling. Thats "ok" then. But oob it rips peoples hand off, esp with a DD. We had a test yesterday with 1 Simucube user and a fanatec DD2 user, both guys were really "not happy" how the mod feels. On turnin it looses all resitance, and on throttle its way to strong
Zarg 9 Jun, 2020 @ 6:40am
maybe a bad setup of T300 I don't know or bad setup ingame too, too bad the mod is really interesting! @Lewismrl @StrawmanAndy
Bazwaterboy 9 Jun, 2020 @ 3:01am
This happens to me off throttle. Its feels as if the FFB is negative come to think about it. I will check the setup options.
Lewismrl  [author] 8 Jun, 2020 @ 4:24pm
Without knowing your settings it hard to know but were not having those issues. These are 300+ BHP FWD cars so some torques steer is to be expected. Assuming you are feeding in the power , not running excessive camber and letting tyre temps build before pushing?
StrawmanAndy  [author] 8 Jun, 2020 @ 4:20pm
@seb the old If it's happening on every FWD you drive in rF2, then it's either a preference dislike or something wrong you're end. Equally with no reaction to the changes of force at 0% suggests something may be wrong. We appreciate the FFB can be strong but rF2 supports lowering the FFB. Otherwise, I'm not sure we can help if every FWD car feels odd to you
Zarg 8 Jun, 2020 @ 7:24am
@Lewismrl I made tests from 0 to 30% it's the same nothing changes it's even worse if I increase the steering torque! all front-wheel drive is like this on rf2.
Lewismrl  [author] 8 Jun, 2020 @ 4:51am
@seb the old sounds like torquesteer which is to be expected from the FWD. Try adjusting your diff settings to suit.
Zarg 7 Jun, 2020 @ 2:32pm
good mod, but the FFB of traction on RF2 is not really good, the steering wheel turns on its own when accelerating...so strange!!
Bazwaterboy 7 Jun, 2020 @ 7:51am
Since the update it feels like my FFB has reversed so I am always fighting to keep in a straight line..
Is there optimal control settings I should be following?
English1977 6 Jun, 2020 @ 12:24pm
When these cars first updated I hated the new physics and nearly went back to v0.95, but i decided to spend an evening working on the setup and have, along with a friend, mastered these cars (as far as my talent will allow).
I agree that they are much more sensitive than the previous version. v0.95 was very easy to drive "out of the box", but that makes them all the more satisfying to drive once you get the setup right.
Great job, guys.
FlatOut389 6 Jun, 2020 @ 8:12am
Thx for the answer. Have tried out the cars today again. They were still a little bit awkward to drive.. but it was better. Before that I had to partially reinstall my rFactor2 because of other issues.
Sorry for my bad english, maybe "hopping" is the wrong term to describe what I had. It felt like the forces working on the tires were too strong. A little bump on one side of the road felt like driving the tire through a pithole, so the car went to the other side while correcting the steering.. I wasn't the only one having this issue on track, friends of mine had the same things.. hope it will improve more in the next updates.
Lewismrl  [author] 5 Jun, 2020 @ 9:59am
These are all new physics and far closer to represent current NGTC specifications. The old cars had too much downforce, these mirror reality far closer, and they can be harder to drive on opening laps so need a lap or two before you can push, please bear this in mind. As for hopping around on the straight, not something we've experienced so unsure what this is. Check or tune your setup and FFB settings would be my suggestion
FlatOut389 5 Jun, 2020 @ 9:33am
Hello. I really enjoyed the BTCC (FWD) Cars in the past, driving the MG 6 in a little btcc league. Unfortunately I have big problems with the car handlings since last update.. the steering feels strange, hopping around from the left to the right on flat straights.. is there an option to change this behaviour? The driving experience is not the same like before the update.. to a negative thing .. at least for me =( hope to see the old physics again..
StrawmanAndy  [author] 4 Jun, 2020 @ 3:15am
@bruceiow Have you tried moving the brake bias forward and adding more rear wing? These new cars have been updated to reflect the pace of the real BTCC, so you may find you have to change your inputs from 0.95
bruceiow 3 Jun, 2020 @ 1:12pm
Waaaaaay too tail happy to be enjoyable. Wants to swap ends at the touch of the brake. Shame, as pretty much perfect otherwise.
