these sets are cool but old. if you combine them you get huge fps drops and pcu goes off the roof.

Is this usable in planets as well or just in orbit?
Foundation 25. mar. 2019 kl. 14:35
Which module do you recommend to start using ?
k_medlock  [ophavsmand] 7. aug. 2018 kl. 23:26
@ryan.perkins Was the first module that you built from a station or a ship? It might be that you cant paste ship blueprints onto a grid that is set to a station...
Tample_IV 6. aug. 2018 kl. 12:45
@k_medlock I tried that method with yours and a few other people modular stations. Late last night I finally tracked the issue to everything I bring in being assigned as a "ship" and not a stations. I had to slap down a terminal on every modular piece and assign it as a station then it worked a peach. Any thoughts on whats causing this?
k_medlock  [ophavsmand] 5. aug. 2018 kl. 23:03
@ryan.perkins It can happen, the way you get around this issue is by pasting the module in the world. Then look at one of the conveyor blocks of the module and press "Ctrl + X" to delete it while looking at the conveyor block. then try pasting the module back in and put your cursor over the conveyor block of the already pasted module. They should now be much easier to connect. Hope it helps.
Tample_IV 5. aug. 2018 kl. 16:59
maybe im just a moron, but I can not for the life of me figure out how to get the modules to connect. they are always placed 1 block apart. I have tried cut/paste and that isnt helping, any advice
Retro 12. juli 2018 kl. 20:48
I'd be so happy if you made a mining module and assembly module.
Nite Mohz 21. feb. 2018 kl. 21:28
Thank you for the info. Once again Amzing work you have done. I only wish I could do stuff like this.
k_medlock  [ophavsmand] 21. feb. 2018 kl. 21:25
I have promised those for so long... They will come eventually. I don't have a release date however...
Nite Mohz 21. feb. 2018 kl. 21:23
Awesome Thank you very much. And your modules are amzing. This is the wrong place but are you thinking of some smaller mining and utility crafts?
k_medlock  [ophavsmand] 21. feb. 2018 kl. 21:22
Yes the cargo storage module comes with refineries. The station hubs have assemblers for example.
Nite Mohz 21. feb. 2018 kl. 21:15
Hey I may be missing it but do any modules come with refineries and assemblers?
k_medlock  [ophavsmand] 13. feb. 2018 kl. 7:15
@Exelsiar No the external vents are for detailing only. They are turned off so they should not cause any trouble.
Exelsiar 13. feb. 2018 kl. 6:37
I've started building these, I'm curious, What's with the external vent's? Would building these planet side be feasable?
k_medlock  [ophavsmand] 10. feb. 2018 kl. 5:13
@awesomeguy101 Np!
sammie_boy 10. feb. 2018 kl. 5:06
Thanks!
k_medlock  [ophavsmand] 9. feb. 2018 kl. 23:21
@awesomeguy101 You try until the two modules line up correctly. It is easier if you paste the module in and delete it again where the merge block or conveyor is. Then it will be easier to connect the modules up.
sammie_boy 9. feb. 2018 kl. 16:55
How do you actually get these to merge?
Spicy Shrimp 7. jan. 2018 kl. 11:26
The longer I think about it, the more charming a warp drive sounds to me. On another note, maybe a medium to large room for anything like a warp drive (or an energy shield generator) would be an easy way for "one fits all". On a second thought, one could easily throw stuff like this into a small- to medium-sized hangar too.
Cheers!
k_medlock  [ophavsmand] 6. jan. 2018 kl. 15:48
@rippedandburned I made a gatling and missile version so you can pick and choose what suits your needs.
pobblebonk 6. jan. 2018 kl. 15:40
looks awesome! that didnt take long at all
k_medlock  [ophavsmand] 6. jan. 2018 kl. 12:02
@rippedandburned Done.
k_medlock  [ophavsmand] 6. jan. 2018 kl. 11:16
@rippedandburned Alright haha I get your point... Should be a fairly quick module to build...
pobblebonk 6. jan. 2018 kl. 11:05
I think it would be a good idea, because on slim corridor sections you're gonna want to use those as a means of transportation between the ports and a station, so if you want to put defenses on the end of the port, you would need a hybrid x section, like i've had to use here[/here] and it just looks funny like some kind of counterweight at the other end of the station. k_medlock  [ophavsmand] 6. jan. 2018 kl. 1:32
@rippedandburned I would have to think about that... Is there any demand?
pobblebonk 3. jan. 2018 kl. 11:42
Will there also ever be a slim corridor defense module?
k_medlock  [ophavsmand] 3. jan. 2018 kl. 11:13
@Spicy Shrimp Np ;)
Spicy Shrimp 3. jan. 2018 kl. 11:08
Great and even more "Wow-effect" for the speed with which that has been fixed!
k_medlock  [ophavsmand] 3. jan. 2018 kl. 10:56
@Spicy Shrimp Fixed it.
k_medlock  [ophavsmand] 3. jan. 2018 kl. 10:01
@Spicy Shrimp... Hmm thats not good I'll fix that rightaway...
Spicy Shrimp 3. jan. 2018 kl. 9:51
There seems to be a tiny issue with the collectors on the storage units.
Looks like only the middle row is connected to the grid.
Fixed it for now by replacing some light armore blocks with conveyor connectors. (In case anybody wonders)
Oh, and Happy New Year!
k_medlock  [ophavsmand] 31. dec. 2017 kl. 2:40
@The Little Dumpling Thanks mate xD

@rippedandburned Yeah I'll be making a vertical stairs too. Hmm I have never thought about making a warp module because usually stations dont move all that much... But i see your point it would be convenient to move it to more resource rich areas if the current one was depleted...
pobblebonk 31. dec. 2017 kl. 1:29
You think you ever want to make a straight vertical staircase so you don't have to go horizontal to go vertical? Also why not think about making a warp drive module, corridor or end or otherwise? That way if you need to relocate the station wether if a near-by asteroid you use for resources has gone dry or if you need to jump to escape a seige you have the means to move quickly.

dude, this momdular station is N U T worthy
k_medlock  [ophavsmand] 27. dec. 2017 kl. 6:08
Haha these comments make building so much more fun! Glad you like them! :D
Spicy Shrimp 27. dec. 2017 kl. 5:07
Even though my station will be much bigger than necessary, I do love this blueprints!
The_Lorelock 8. dec. 2017 kl. 11:14
Cool, so excited.
k_medlock  [ophavsmand] 8. dec. 2017 kl. 11:12
@Sentinel36 Np mate. Probably will add a medium and heavy module too, but that can wait for now.
The_Lorelock 8. dec. 2017 kl. 11:09
Nice, thanks for the defense module medlock

@k_medlock: Just wondering if there is some progress in your scaled down version of a hub?
k_medlock  [ophavsmand] 2. dec. 2017 kl. 7:22
@Captain Cheesecake Yes i plan to make one.
Cpt. Cheesecake 30. nov. 2017 kl. 14:55
I was just wondering if we can have a defense module, like a turret or something?
k_medlock  [ophavsmand] 26. nov. 2017 kl. 14:35
@SparkStatic Alright np always here to help!
smokingfent 26. nov. 2017 kl. 14:03
Oh ok thanks! It was the second part I was having trouble with. Love the modules, btw! Great work!
k_medlock  [ophavsmand] 26. nov. 2017 kl. 13:58
@SparkStatic Alright. So first of all you go into the Space Engineers blueprint menu by pressing 'F10'. Then select one of the station modules and press 'okay'. After this you exit out of the of blueprint menu and then just press 'Ctrl + V' and paste the module in you world. You repeat this wiht other modules.

If you have the feeling that the modules dont connect properly you paste them in the world and copy then while having the crosshair over either the Conveyor Block or Merge Block of the module and then try connecting then.
smokingfent 26. nov. 2017 kl. 13:40
Copy and paste the modules together? (sorry I've never done this before)
