When I last used this mod I recall the guns used to shoot at every visible target not it just shoots at one and then ends its turn did something get changed?

its designed as a turret (with a reskin) so what ever factions you face should have no issue.. the turret is locked to the xcom faction, its just AI controlled

I think I know what's happening; this mod wasn't designed with raider factions in mind, so long story short I should avoid using this in missions that have sitreps that include additional factions, the the exception perhaps being the lost.

something seems to be conflicting with this mod, or maybe there's a problem with the mod itself; either way, when I try to deploy it, the game crashes.

I use these settings, to do less damage, but soften up the enemies at longer range before they get to you.And set to be REUASABLE, rather than a one time use.

I dont have any problems with any mission i take them on, and am running with 319 mods at present, using the old game launcher.

Take 6 of these with the team on a chosen stronghold, set up 4 in the middle at the corners, and 2 at the back, one in each corner.Mission sorted!
Love these give extra power just when its needed.

i have never run into that problem and i have had the turret kill the chosen more than once

@ObelixDK If the Chosen is killed and there are still enemies in the stronghold the gun will take a shot. After that the game freezes. The workaround is to save the game before the killing shot on the Chosen and then exit the game. Remove this mod from the game and restart the game. Once restarted kill the Chosen and the mission will complete successfully. This works for me every time.

@ObelixDK I have run into an issue when in a Chosen Stronghold where the game freezes and I think it may be related to this mod. What happens after the Chosen is killed is that that a sentry gun opens up on another enemy in the chamber and the game freezes. I removed the mod from the mix and opened the most recent save file after the most recent freeze and then the mission completed successfully.

Is there a way to adjust the target priority of the gun? It seems to go after Lost a lot of the time over more important targets. Just wondered if it was possible to shift focus on lost down the list a bit.

Either way, great mod! One of my favs. :-)

Its aim stat should be the same as the turret (75) or upgraded heavy turrets (85) provided by the Defense Matrix facility. In fact, its stats should mirror those of the Defense Matrix turrets and/or heavy turrets.

I feel that, if the turret is a one-time-use item, its alloy cost should be lower BUT supply cost should be higher.

Building an EXO Suit or Spider Suit in the Proving Groud costs 3 alien alloys, a Wraith Suit or War Suit costs 5 alien alloy, and a SPARK costs 10 alien alloys. Building a one-time-use portable turret should not cost as much alien alloys as building a SPARK. IMO, 5 alien alloy is a more reasonable cost for building a ONE-TIME-USE mobile turret.

The supply cost should be 50. The cost of building a Wraith Suit or War Suit is 25 supplies, a SPARK is 50 supplies. More importantly: building a Refraction Field or Sustaining Field in the engineering (which are also one-time-use items) costs 50 supplies. So, 50 is reasonable enough.

Personally, I just reconfiged the Sentry Gun into a multiple-use/reusable item that costs 100 supplies (same as a proximity mine) and 10 alloys (same as a SPARK).

Could be useful for Avenger Defense mission, if the sentry guns shoot after XCOM soldiers to take care of any enemies that get past the soldiers and too close to Avengers.

The turret is gone after use, i have to build a new one and equip it after each mission its used on. Dont need to do that with other equipment like ammo and grenades so i would love to see that fixed. Other then that Great mod!

Honestly this mod is sick and I love it. Superb quality. However, it is in desperate need of an updated firing SFX. The current one is the only thing that doesn't fit the quality of the rest of the mod.

nothing has been changed in the mod and it works fine on my end.. try clearing your config
