The transition between jumping, sliding and tripping is super smooth.
I agree with another poster. I had a hard time distinguishing the background and obstacles.
I'm kind of obsessive about sound effects and the light collection sound seems oddly out of place. I'd suggest something more whimsical and magical.
All and all very nicely done.

One more thing, why do you running from right to left instead of left to right? Why change the platform formula gamers are used too?
Anyway, keep up the good work and it will be a nice little game.^^
i noticed that the text at the start, when it became too long of length, it would wrap it self to a new line, shouldn't it do this without the user seeing this snap transition?
I think the character changing directions was a little slow, but never the less, this will be something brilliant. =D
