By the way you remind me of the Author Clive Cussler, he always subtly puts himself in his novels, nice one.

There is a pet dog named Anubis. The other tame animals have names, but are only noticed when attacked. Cats: Sakhmet, Tefnut, Mafdet, and Bast; Fiery hound: Sutekh.
