I believe you're talking about the class mod, yes?
This is only a skin for the vanilla hero Crusader, so it must match the vanilla hero's skeleton.

I'm guessing the class mod uses a different, custom skeleton. Changing the skeleton of the class will affect other Crusader skins.

@Bloody Carrot Key besides the folders, you gotta also rename the "crusader_R", "crusader_S" instances in a text file called "modfiles". It should be above (in folder level) the "heroes" folder in the workshop location. Open the "modfiles" with notepad or notepad++, replace the letters in every instance and save the file, then it should work.

I got this skin along with Female Crusader Aditional Colours mod which uses crusader_R and crusader_S slot, and I tried to rename them, but the skins won't show up (the blue and red variant). How can I fix this? I tried renaming the folders in the workshop location on steamapps.

@747074170 this is just a skin, so the art has to fit the vanilla characters' skeleton, thus, we work with limited space.

In order to make the characters larger, we'd have to redo the skeleton, and it'd also affect the vanilla heroes' outlook, making them look like a bunch of messed up boxes if they arent on the skin palette.
Scale editing also involves using Spine, a software that, in order for it to be the right version compatible with DD modding, costs 300 USD.
That's why there are still a lot of modders who use vanilla heroes' skeletons, because it costs at least 300 USD for a custom skeleton. Unless one asks another modder who owns Spine to do it for em, but nowadays everyone is busy with their own projects.

amazing!! just made a fresh new run cuz of this mod and i got a little suggestion here, to be a heavy armed character, both abyss walker and dragon slayer looks kindda skinny and short compare to the others. hopefully you can release a larger version (10~15% increased scale maybe?) if it's not too much to ask for. again, thanks for the great mods!

This skin looks gorgeous! Except I found that it's marred by a little line seperating the top of the helmet to the rest of the head.

@Librarian Arlik: Skins shouldnt be affected on this update unless the devs change the way hero folders are organized (which as far as I have seen in the changelog, werent mentioned). Class mods on the other hand, will be.

Atm I cant fix nor post any mods, my laptop is busted. I'll let y'all know if it's fine to keep using these skins.

Are you going to update this mod for Color of Madness? All mods will be busted when it launches.

If you have the skin checked on in the mode menu before entering the save file and if toggling through your Crusader palettes results in none of these skins, there could be another Crusader skin mod that is taking the same slots (R, S ,T and U).

Do you have many other Crusader skins?
If so, you'll have to check into the mods folder in your computer to see if any of the skins besides the Artorias one is also labeled as "Crusader_R", "Crusader_S", "Crusader_T" and "Crusader_U".

You can also drag the mod up in the menu list and see if it replaces any of the Crusader skins you had on previously.

@Guts I dont think so, because that'd require spine and neither of us have it. AceroSteel had a broken arm Artorias as the defend/dodge sprite, but then he changed it to the current one in this skin pack.

I know little of the projects' progress, but I can tell Muscarine is at least the one behind their spines.
And Acero got his hands full as well, being also behind the art of other community projects besides these 2 and the Librarian. Busy busy.
