This scenario had great potential for enjoyment but like others, I also had the "run out of water" issue when 78% was being shown. A pity.

A brake problem on the banker locomotive prevents going out of Tyne yard: impossible to get out of the yard shunt even with 100% power applied.

Despite not going above 25 mph, having to put the banker on the front to avoid the braking problem on the banker and no trains moving other than those near tyne yard, I was thoroughly enjoying the scenario... until I got a "Game over Locomotive ran out of water" outside darlington. I'll never know how anyone managed without a banker !

Keeps ending because train runs out of water yet there is still plenty there - 80% in tanmk and 3,000 gals in reserve!!

A post script to my previous comment.I consider myself to be an "experienced" steam engine scenario driver. However travelling down the ECML for 58 miles with this train at an average speed of 12 to 20 mph is torturous and boring.

I have played this scenario again after you added the banker engine. However I was very disappointed that this additional engine contributed very little to the overall tractive effort that is requirered to keep this heavy train on the move at a respectable line speed.I would like to suggest that if a number of wagons are removed and shunted into sidings along the way to York.It would progressively lighten the load, improve the performance and bring a bit of excitement back into this scenario. What do you think?

Had problems getting out of Tyne Yard because of load even with sander. Ground to a halt and started to reverse. What am I doing wrong please.

had a problem with the brakes slightly jammed on and the back engine was no help. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Hi R.R.V. (Jack) I have just completed this excellent scenario, I gotta say I was very impressed Jack. I did have a fault on the banking loco when I sounded the whistle, it unfortunately jammed on, as did the sander lever, oops! I managed to get a message to York loco Depot, and they advised me to drop the banking loco off at the 1st freight yard I arrived at, which I did. The yard was approx. 2 miles away from the final yard of my destination & Nth of York. With the single loco hauling the train my fireman & I worked hard to get our heavy train on the move again, and we eventually managed to crawl into the yard of our final destination. We both sat in the cab for a while and had a well deserved rest. Bacon &Eggs on the shovel, with rolls & Tea. We shedded our loco at York for the night. Another freight train for us back to Tyne Yard for our next duty perhaps? Hope you enjoy reading this story. All the best to you Jack. Bye for Now. (COLIN.D.) ABERDEEN.
