I am getting all 17 of my mods re-labeled from 1.0 to B19 and retesting which will take another day or two. For anyone that cannot wait download the 1.0 version which should work.

@Bullwinkle that's what Vanilla has already, not so much info. this mod is to add more info for those who don't like the suprise of getting a vegetable walking into camp with 20 hostiles right after, I think @Tiger's got the right idea about immersion. btw why do they always have so many people chasing after them even tho they have almost nothing, seems a tad bit unrealistic if ya ask me, the only reason why I want unrealistic stat checks is because of the unrealistic threats involved.

I realize this mod is called "refugee stats" and not "stats of any old loser that wants to join your colony," but would it be possible to make this mod work with all scenarios that involve new colony members?

I just had an instance where a guy was willing to join my colony after I let him get eaten half to death by an ostrich and bandaged his wounds, and another one that was triggered by an event where a wanderer noticed my colony needed help and offered to join.

I'd love a version (or a slider bar in the current version) so that less info is displayed, like maybe not display what they are incabable of doing or maybe list only 1 of their traits and max 3 of their passions. This is supposedly a quick panic call, not a sit down over a cup of coffee job interview. Keeping the stat numbers hidden is cool, but I'd like just a little bit of a surprise factor included. Still, pretty cool mod.

Great mod! Could you add an option that we can see the complete character profile? I know it's not realistic, but this is the one case where I don't care about immersion, if that guy wants our arms and our food I want to know that he's worth it.

Thanks! I usually ignore those messages, unless I am pretty sure on the backstory that they can be useful. Dunno' if it's fair, but I just assume that my colinists are all like "Tell a bit 'bout yourself!"

I have literally NEVER had one of those "world map rescue" events turn into a colonist, for me. They always get their asses up and leave, after I waste my time going out to save them.

It would be interested to see a variation of this for the Incapacitated Refugee event on the world map. More than once I've thrown a last minute caravan together and trucked out into the middle of nowhere just to find some useless jerk bleeding out on the ground.

It would be so awesome if we also got to see what they're actually good at besides what they would like to do.

How about giving more information if the guy has a family member in your colony, or if they visited before? (And maybe a pawn with high Social knows about them from gossiping, if they have noteworthy traits.)

...Actually, I'm OK with saving a random stranger from pirates, I'd just like to have the option to accept/reject them into the colony pop up *after* the fight, when I know a bit more about them.

I think LTHC means with how much info we're told about these people some may feel like stalkers ;)

I more view it as:

If the "RefugeeStats: Adding Harmony Prefix to IncidentWorker_RefugeeChased.TryExecuteWorker (blocking)." line is on it's own row that's expected and is not the problem

Having a similar issue where I cannot load my save, possibly caused by this mod?
(Only one other possibility deduced from a non-modder's/"non-coder's"[?] understanding)

Is this what you're looking for?

Would you consider an alternate, more vague version? Like instead of concrete facts, something like them responding about what they really like and maybe even the pawn lying some percent of the time just to not die? Food for thought
