@cadetpirx, That wasn't a mod, that's the built-in UI for when you use your D-Pad to select weapons when you play on a controller.

@Toph Bei Fong, Extra lives work the same as they do in the co-op modes. You can get extra lives for reaching a certain score, but the amount of lives you have will reset when entering a new level.

As far as I'm aware, I cannot change these particular rules.

Just double-checked for ya. Enemy strength and amount is the same between this mode and standard singleplayer.

@Klaxwave, as far as I remember that's exactly right. I remember trying to keep it close to the standard singleplayer settings as I could, but it's been a hot minute since I last worked on this.

Oh, I see. But otherwise, everything singleplayer related is the same; as in, there won't be extra enemy spawns as if I was playing a multiplayer server?

@Klaxwave There is a button at the buttom of the screen labelled "Custom" that will let you adjust additional settings including enabling infinite ammo if you wish.

These settings will not work for any custom singleplayer mode unless Croteam changes it. In multiplayer modes the custom settings work fine as far as I know.

Awesome. When you say "customized difficulty is unusable," does that mean nothing will happen if I pick Serious versus any other difficulty?

I'm assuming you meant Second Encounter not Next Encounter? Arcade Mode, and custom singleplayer gamemodes in general as far as I know, work LESS in BFE and The Second Encounter HD than they do in Fusion. Not gonna port any of my singleplayer modes to either BFE or HD TSE.

@noam 2000, I just played through Hatshepsut in Arcade Mode and the only issue I encountered was a bug where enabling NSKuber's Loot Mod delays picking up map weapons by 30 seconds.

Doesn't look like this works anymore, trying to use it just puts me in a "Connecting to host" loop with the console complaining about the lobby not existing.

@Cacoszaman, Actually, thinking about it if you can find where this gamemode's .gro is located in steamapps/workshop on your computer you might be able to put it in the editor and manually increase the enemy strength...

@Cacoszaman, not that I know of. You might be able to do it with console commands, but as far as I know Croteam will need to fix the whole custom difficulty thing so you can strengthen the enemies.

@Goldfreak is there a way to enable the enemy's strength? I usually play with 50% tougher enemies, on with your mod i can't do that...

@Cacoszaman, I could've sworn the intro to TSE still played in this gamemode. I don't think I'm gonna be able to fix that anytime soon.

@CrusaderTheFirst, No. I believe it is currently beyond my modding abilities and it will might also have a bug that will crash your game anyway.

@Cacoszaman, Saving was disabled because the last time someone tried to enable Multiplayer Models in Singleplayer, there was a crash bug involving loading a save with a different playermodel and I got paranoid that the same thing would happen to Arcade Mode had I allowed saving.

I tested a version of arcade mode that allows saving recently and the game doesn't crash. I'm looking into getting the version with saving released soon.
