I mean seriously, where's the basis for this? There's like, no reason this could have happened. Why on earth would Wilhelm have SUPPORTED restarting unrestricted submarine warfare? It makes no sense, and they even made it so that Germany sunk some "Lusitania" ship instead of Britain sinking that ship carrying German Christmas gifts. And like someone else said, why haven't the USA and Italy collapsed yet? At least they recently added some releasable nations in Italy, but not even they get a cool civil war like the Ottomans had twice IRL.

I would like to make a few formal complaints about this modification of Hearts of Iron Number IV. First, Germany is a little too powerful in this game. Their focus tree just allows them to annex entire countries pacefully with no consequences. Just because Austria, Bohemia, and Poland borders it, doesn't mean that you can just annex them for free. Sure it may spike the tension a little bit, but that doesn't really matter unless Britain or France intervene, which they normally don't. And who's this "Adolf Hitler" guy running the country? I did some research and he's just some artist. Why wouldn't Kaiser Wilhelm come back, or even Alfred von Mackenstein, despite the populous not liking either, and neither being really that competent at running a country?

And then there's the U.S. and Italy. Why do these two nations even exist in the first place? I mean, since they all come from different histories, that obviously means they should be divided into civil wars, each with their own seperate ideologies, fighting for dominance. There's no possible way that people can work together for a brighter future; this is alternate history, not a fantasy! What's worse is that Italy; not Venice, not Lombardy, not even the Kingdom of the two Sicilies, all of Italy, is led by an ultranationalist that's just as obscure as Hitler was. Why would Benito Mussolini, a socialist newspaper writer, become the totalitarian dictator of a country that shouldn't even exist? I mean, why would an Italian switch sides?
