djoe 31 Oct, 2018 @ 8:32am
Looks absolutely stunning! Is it suitable for 81-tiles?

Ecania - after much debating, swithering, and thinking....this is the map I've just started building on. Your making choosing between a map very difficult, each and every one is picture perfect!

You may not be the "top contributor" but man, is your work quality. Loved building here.

@mason Go into Unlimited Trees' options. Make sure the factor level is set to the lowest (scale 4). Any higher and you'll nuke your FPS and overload your RAM/VRAM.
Go to "In case of trees error" and set this to Replace. If there are errors caused by missing or broken assets then the mod will replace the errors with vanilla trees. < That is VERY likely to resolve your issue that you might blame the mod for.

Not what I know of, havent noted any problems with the map or that mod.

my game crash twice, does the unlimited trees mod have some problems?

Dat theme tho! Quite exquisite. Must have taken some time to put together. Altogether another wonderful piece of content for us all to destroy as BonBon says.

Speaking of custom clouds, you may want to look at this newest masterpiece by BloodyPenguin, ecania and DRen72. It replaces the sky box, background and reflections in the water! https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1183931915&searchtext=

Might just download this to fly around and enjoy the view! Looks amazing - clearly a lot of work has been put into it.
ecania  [author] 28 Oct, 2017 @ 3:45pm
@ DRen72 Dont use day and night cycle in game options gives you the clouds.
DRen72 28 Oct, 2017 @ 2:47pm
The clouds in the screenshots.....how did you do that?

I came up with a creative way to deal with the unwanted farmland and in so doing, I now have a map I think will make a good basis for my Xmas city for 2017 ;)

Thanks everyone, overview screens are added, all critics welcome, aye grapplehoeker, tastes for maps are very very different, its impossible to satisfie all kind of tastes, but I will take critic in mind.
grapplehoeker 28 Oct, 2017 @ 1:31pm
It's a very pretty map! Your rivers and falls are particularly well done.
I only have a couple of criticisms. If I were to use this map I would have to edit the rail and sea routes in order to have independent routes to each outside connection. The 2 huge looping sea routes are a little unnecessary except for the artificial impression of providing a scenic cruise. While that may hold up as an excuse for the ships, there is no good reason for the convoluted flight paths for the air routes.
I'm not a big fan of all of the prelaid fields and farmland throughout the map.
Having said all that, it is beautiful. Well done ;)

You made some really nice maps, but could you add some map overview screenshots to your work? You know, to make it way easier to decide weather the map is what one is looking for for the next city to build, without havin to download and load it first :)
AquilaSol 28 Oct, 2017 @ 12:03pm
Stunning!
