Nah that's not it, it starts to play once you get inside the cannon and shoot to the other part of the level.

Hey! I really liked the atmosphere of the whole level! It was almost like the first time you play the game! I really enjoyed it, though some conversation with the mafias would be super nice! Sweet and short one in all!

hey, thanks! it being my first level i kept it pretty short and simple. glad you liked the broken cannon, lol. def my favorite part of it is just how i made it look, the first cannon shot that gives the view over it all is something i enjoyed making.

fun to explore and looks very visually appealing. i was surprised to see yarn around the level as well as that one cannon that didn't work haha. i wish this level was longer it has a ton of potential

Yea, the crane's collision isnt very great. if i get a chance ill probably replace it with a handmade crane out of metal parts so its not so insane.

Having a reset button on the time trials would be great but i dont think its possible :S

I agree about those time trials. Those things made me miserable. If I fail at one of those I have to restart the level because knowingly missing a collectible makes the whole experience hollow. My problem with the crane one wasn't the time limit though. It was the bad clipping. I often fall off immediately for no reason & there's no checkpoint nearby so, at that point, I'm screwed. Putting boards near the beginning of the narrow part of the crane might help.

Hmm. I can't say i am seeing the lighting issues on my end, which is really weird.

On the riftcoins, ( and the crane specifically ) i can see it can be pretty infuriating to miss it by just half a second and have to restart the level. I'm not sure what to do there, it is really easy to cheese with the timestop hat but i feel like the crane has enough extra time that it is more than possible.

Two problems I've noticed;

* The ship with the crane and rift coin has some lighting issues, the crates flicker between bright and shaded whenever you move.
* The rift coins are way too hard to get - the timing is narrow enough on the two after the cannon that I don't know how you are supposed to get them without using time stop to cheese it, and I legitimately have no idea how you're expected to get the one on top of the crane at all - it looks like you're supposed to walk up the crane's single pixel wide frame, but it is effectively impossible to do that within the incredibly narrow time limit. And since the coins are inside the capsule things, you can't try again unless you restart the level entirely.

Updated to 1.1 and fixed the inflation problem in the riftcoin economy.

I actually thought this was a nice little rift. Not too complicated or silly, just a good level. I did however spend an odd amount of time trying to get that chest way off on it's own before I looked in the binocular thingy only to realize it wasn't meant to be gotten to. Since it wasn't a chest, it was a cheeseburger....

I'll put pons in those chests instead, then. Those sections were added on after the coins, where there was no path past them. When i get my editor fixed that will be the first thing i will do.

I'd say move the existing rift coins into those side areas and make them "difficult" to get, rather than just hiding them on the sides of the map.

That sounds like a much nicer way to put stuff like that in, I'll see what i can do. I wasn't sure what to add as a reward for those areas, and didn't want to add any more riftcoins.

It's not great, but it's not bad... Some areas of the map are barren with the exception of some pons, and rift tokens are given a little too generously in my opinion. I think a happy medium there (assuming it's possible to do this in kismet) would be to add a little mini-challenge to each area like collecting the pons that spawn from one of those capsules and rewarding rift tokens that way, since your map has some open, medium-sized areas that are off the main path.
