this mod contains Diplomacy changes, probably left by mistake. it changes diplomacy and affinity between most races.

Just to give you a comparison... As the mod is now it is cheaper to support an army encamped deep in foreign territory than to support an army marching normally right outside of your capital in the heart of your empire. I think the mod will be even better with these balance changes.

I think that having your troops encamped in foreign territory should have a different effect as encamped in your own territory. For example currently encamping in your territory and you get a 10% reduction in upkeep and recruitment. However, if you encamp in foreign territory you actually get a 20% reduction in upkeep (by cancelling the 10% penalty and adding another 10% reduction) and also still get the 10% reduction in recruitment.

I would think that encampment in foreign territory should only cancel the 10% increased upkeep for being in foreign territory. Perhaps keeping the 10% reduced cost of recruitment in foreign territory makes sense when encamped since you are forced to use global recruitment at that time.

Love the mod. I would like to offer some ideas if you don't mind. I think there is too much uniformity in the values for the different stances.

I would argue that putting an army into march mode should increase its upkeep by 5% in your territory and to +15% in foreign territory. Troops moving faster means less chance to forage and increased effort means troops will eat more, machinery/equipment might need more repair, and so on.

I would argue that sitting in ambush/stalking stance also should have increased upkeep +15% in foreign territory for the same reason. An army in ambush stance is trying to stay hidden so there is less chance to forage for supplies locally hence more upkeep/supply is needed. Perhaps even increasing to +5% in your own territory as well.

Having your armies in these stances should be different than when they are in no stance. It adds to the strategic depth in a logical way.

LOVE the concept behind this mod, but keep getting CTD's every few turns with it.

Yeah the mod is pretty cool to use, but I had to disable it since it is causing some random and frequent CTD between turn times.

Despite that, this is great work! it makes marching much more important.

It still works. It causes a CTD on some turns but its not too common and you can get around it.

Same thing, CTD during Strygos turn at 86. disabled the mod, and then enabled it at turn 87.

I can confirm this Mod is sometimes causing End Turn crashes.

I was having CTD during the Vampire Count AI turn dafter turn 40.

After turning off this mod, I was able to get to turn 41.

@Wiid and anyone using this mod.

While playing a Norsca Campaign, during turn 39 the game started crashing when it was time for Green Skin.

Disabling mods checking the problem, the game kept crashing at this turn and during Green Skin turn until i disabled this mod, I was able to finish the turn to start turn 40. Then I enabled this mod and continued the game.


While continuing my Norsca Campaign, during turn 79 the game started crashing when it was time for Har Ganeth.
Again disabling mods, that I might have added or installed newly, the game kept crashing till i disabled this mod.
I was able to finish turn 79, and start turn 80. I enabled this mod again. and it is working.

Just a little info that i think you guys might need it incase game crashed at a certain enemy turn..

Basically I want to have it so that as characters level up they can begin to generate income themselves. It would be nice to tie the RPG character system more directly to the economy. Plus since the AI basically doesnt even bother with economy anyway, its not gonna really effect the balance of the game all to much. Simply, it will better reward you for properly managing your Lords in the only way that really counts on the campaign map, cash money.

been really sick for the past 2 weeks so I havent had the desire to work on it. Hopefully I dont feel like death this weekend. I also have a few new ideas I was looking to add as well. Like the Idea of characters personal holdings that generate wealth. I figured most main characters in the Warhammer world would probably have a personal source of wealth along with whatever the faction was paying them.

Thanks for the feed back sorry Ive been MIA. I have been reading. I just started dating someone so I lost alot of my free time. That aside. Their seem to be alot of issues with the mod the way its structured right now. This weekend I will attempt to make the mod from the ground up again using all your input and my campaigns play threws to see if I can make it more stable and consistent. Ill let everyone know how it goes. Stay safe out there.

I've noticed that the Forgebound is the faction that mine crashes on when playing as Last Defenders. I don't know enough about the system to identify how to correct this, but I'd like to at least provide the feedback.

I removed the stuff for the dark elves and the issues with the vamp counts. My High Elf play through so far has had no issues. I'm starting a new Dwarf campaign so hopefully Ill catch the issue on this one and be able to identify it and remove it.

romanns yeah I ran into the same dark elves crash. Forgebound seem to be the faction who crashes it for me. Hopefully Wild's Garrison still works without this mod.

I have been thinking all this time it is CA's fault, but it is your mod which crashes the game on dark elves and vampires (non-pirtates) turns. Maybe it is fixed for counts now, but I have it for dark elves.

I love this mod, it adds some nice depth to the campaign mad. However, it has been crashing my game ever since the Aye-Aye patch. Reading the other comments here I realise it's something to do with the vampire counts channeling stance. It has so far crashed four campaigns for me during the end turn. All crashes happened during a Vampire Count turn.

Really hope this gets fixed, great mod! :)

I also removed the lines about the treasure hunting stance for the vampire cost just to be sure
