i appreciate that you liked it, that issue among many many others were why i've unlisted this map outside the playlist, making working NPCs in portal 2 is just prohibitively difficult almost all of the time. glad its a good time aside from those problems

Havent played this for awhile but wanted to revisit, still phenomenal except for the fact that you can dupe the mannequin by just standing behind the kitchen table and let it walk into the said table until the gun appears

After the mannequin pops out, I didn't find any way to finish the level and never found the gun. Is there actually a way to complete the level?

Hey, i really liked this episode. I'm curious about the police inspector you play as, such as their name and what they look like. I saw in game that they are wearing a police uniform because of the blue sleeves but none of the mirrors work.

you use ted's revolver to shoot the haunted mannequin, destroying it and releasing the ghost. you leave in your car and as you drive away you see ted's ghost walk up to the front door before his whole house goes dark

The end always locks me out of desktop, need to blindly open Task Manager and kill the Portal 2 Process from there (I can still see what I have selected when switching tabs using ALT + TAB)

Same, try restarting portal 2. That help me see the mannequin.

its a map that i don't really like ever since i released. it was rushed to fit a deadline, and relied on an extremely memory intensive method of NPC routing that ultimately ended up crashing most people's games at some point. the gameplay most find confusing and repetative, i've found. I don't really want the series to be judged off this map, and don't want to have to suffer through endless critique of the same unfixabe issues.

That will make it more in-line with the rest of the series, and easier to be found by searching for "the office prank"

sorry about the crashing, sincerely. it's part of the reason I haven't been working on portal 2 horror for the workshop recently, it's something I can't really avoid since the maps end up being so long and memory intensive. I am working on a horror-based mod for portal 2 called "valhalla", you can check the progress info on moDB if you'd like.

Second time in a row a map in this series has crashed at the end. Oh well. This was a great map and map series. Would love more portal-themed horror games, this was awesome!

I don't know what part you are at so I can't really help you much. there are a few different stages. you are supposed to be investigating.
