Hmmm... im not sure. it seems fine when i link JUST the physical suppoorts, but those are just for looks. I'll try in a few weeks with my new PC. great build anyway!

It’s actually way more than a trillion. It’s an overflow value. The value is so high, that the watercannon produces extreme drag instead of thrust, meaning that is reduces the cannon’s recoil a lot. Try pressing R-Ctrl afer moving the truck up into the air :p

Ps, i’ve never heard anyone complain that it lags them. It’s been a known technique for a long time, so people would have if it caused issues. So i doubt it’s the watercannons that cause such a huge amount of lag

MAJOR issue: the water guns on the supports are set to what seems like one trillion (not even kidding) which causes my framerate to drop bellow 0.2 FPS.... Fun. Maybe when i get my new PC i'll try it, but this seems wrong

It looks amazing mate, only complaint is the bloody numpad controls.

It’s a glitch. The MV update inverted a lot of hinges and i haven’t had the chance to update all of my creations yet
Sancti Gladiis 15 Dec, 2017 @ 7:49pm
I think, it's inverted:
goes down more than it goes up, controls are inverted.
Was this intentional, or is it a glitch?
Looks cool though: 7.5/10

What is the block count good sirs?

That is an impressively durable gun! The truck looks cool, too.
SGT_MAJOR_FISH 7 Nov, 2017 @ 9:58am
yeah, i didnt think about using the ballast to reduce the recoil, i had been using only suspension blocks
Rincewind  [author] 7 Nov, 2017 @ 9:10am
That being said, the actual amount of steering hinges isn't that important... I just like to redundantly design key parts of the gun to make them more resistant to damage.
Rincewind  [author] 7 Nov, 2017 @ 8:55am
The central ballast block is very heavy and recoil is mitigated by a mixture of weak suspension blocks and steering hinges. @SGT_MAJOR_FISH

i'm not an expert on guns, rince is, but i'd say go overboard with how many things you use to rotate the gun. i think this one has 12 hinges that rotate the base that are all connected to the recoil system with a lot of braces
SGT_MAJOR_FISH 7 Nov, 2017 @ 8:05am
how did you make it so the recoil dosent blow the thing up, i have only managed to build a mount for a cannon with 6 power

Yep. 40. Fourty!. Rince also has a cannon with power 100. But that was a bit too big to mount on a regular truck.
jdhirst20 4 Nov, 2017 @ 6:31pm
Power FORTY cannon? O_O
