SE is more stable and has fewer issues as well as better graphics and cleaner game play. I keep playing Oldrim for nostalgic reasons and it still has a different feel than SE. BUt in answer to your question play both of them and you'll see what I'm talking about. Also A lot of the mods are being ported over to SE, on last look though SkyUI wasn't one of them, I happen to like SkyUI.

Completely understood!! My suggestion to you since I've done this, is to decide which mods are the most important to you. Remove the ones that you can live without. Then go in delete all your game saves and start fresh. Sounds crazy but I've done it a few times and every time I have I've enjoyed Skyrim a lot more with out the headaches. If you whittle your mods down to a selecet few it becomes a lot easier to trouble shoot. I have over a 125 mods but I install them manually. If you feel like it send me a list of your mods and I'll look through it to see if I can find any possible issue causes. In the mean time better to enjoy your game than not, so think about what I suggested and hope it works out for you. :)

Rado. im almst ready to give up on my skyrim file altogether. dont know which mods conflict or cause my bugs, but i cant get NPCs to follow me anymore. to the point where i cant accomplish quests. got AFT, SkyUI, and some other popular (highly rated/many other suscribers) new quest mods (which i havent even touched yet unfortunately). Ill be trying to sort these bugs out but i dont have time to have to troubleshoot my games like this.

Look in your data folder where the mods are, to see if the file update.esm is there. The only other thing I would try is to remove her from your game completely make sure all the folders that go with her are gone then let Steam install her again. I'll get the list of folders and files for you so you can check for them.

Hey Commie, the only other thing needed besides the game is Update.esm, I can't imagine you don't have it but check. I'm going to update her and reupload soon so if you have it I'll look in to her deeper. She's about to go live soon for SSE. I'm pretty busy but I want ot make sure people can use her. So far your the only one that I knoww of that can't find her but that's a problem I want to help with. If there are any other issues with Shalia installed you notice let me know.

Hey Rado, Thanks for offering your time. So, when you fire up skyrim, you get the launch menu. In that menu all the mods scan for updates or confirm load, something to that effect. It appears to be loading up. I am suscribed. Are there any patches, or additional mods that require this one to funtion for me? Thanks again.

OK Commie, she usually will be sitting at a table with her back to the door right across the room from the entrance. look in that area. Otherwise no idea why, if she's checked in the data file list.

is she checked in the data files at the beginning of the game? Just check that first and I'll look in to it to see if I can find out why. I'll look in the CK right now.

Update: my plan is to create my own BSA with all the correct files instead of depending on the CK and upload that as an update. Started working on it today.

It has come to my attention after checking this mod on my own system that even though I included the facegeom tint and meshes from the mod, Steam did not pack them in the BSA, If you are a Nexus user Shalia will soon be on Nexus with her complete package so she will look like she does in the pictures.
