Let me just summarize what I've just said:
*You care for your own work, something many people don't.
*Steam actually forbids posting copyrighted content here without permission; most copyright holders never bothered complaininf, hens them still here.
sorry but i have dyslexia, i might maybe read it in the future
i am really sorry but long text / comments makes my head explode and i am getting a bad headache
Just about almost every non-"original" upload onto the Steam Workshop is illegal here, especially if they happen to be models from the actual games. Many copyright holders, however, don't usually tend to bother with these sort of things, hens them still existing.
When others point out or criticize things about a work, those who don't care usually shrug it off in some manner. You? You got genuinely defensive in concern for your own work, out of fear that a certain scenario would play out. What you're demonstrating is the right type of care for your work.
This is why @mittens is assumed concern about your OC being the victim of the wrong hands that they'll modify the model's texture to fit their "OC". If you want your model safe from modifying, I would suggest you take initiative and find ways to curb this, maybe be more active watching the most recent page on the workshop or regularly check the most recent artwork in the artwork tabs.
that is copyright honestly. and it is not the point of making an public workshop model for SFM/Garry's Mod
people could use the character that's fine. and why do you even want to change it?
if you do not like it how it is, don't Subscribe / download it. and go check out the other SFM models out there i am sure that you will find one that will suit you well.
yeah but i can not change the Description info. but don't worry we will get there.
i am working on it, but Yok has to upload it because i am just an admin and not the workshop owner
I salute you for giving the real definition of OC a clear picture. +rep
like Twilight Sparkle or Batman.. you use them because you want to have them in your artwork
and i am pretty sure that most people who them to enjoy the model it self, and not MODify em.
yeah it is not meant for any specific person, but the workshop is here so anyone can download it and use it / make artworks them-self like for an exemple fan arts and 3D group pictures/ friend pictures ..
and such
but we just did press the subscribe button if you want the model
that is all you have to do if you want the model ingame we do also have
one for Garry's Mod aswell. Enjoy
I honestly don't really think it's meant for a specific person.
Thanks
i honestly want you to not recolor/ change it because i made this character and i wouldn't enjoy to see my character getting copyrighted and edited by people after finally getting an 3D model of her.
and if you do it anyways, it is quite unrespectfull and you might get flaged by copyrighting
if you want to recolor her hit the +Subscribe button and recolor her in-game / play around with the model
sorry
