I've been futzing around with this for a while. Somehow I got a "no legs" listing for legs now, but not one for arms. I figure I'm just going to have to use Spart's DLC Bash with a Kevlar armor loadout. But thanks for looking into it!
Derejin  [author] 4 Feb, 2020 @ 9:12pm
@Calfironiadreaming

How very odd. Why would my mod also need invisible arms if other mods already add them?

Thanks for the feedback, by the way. This is perplexing. @_@
Californiadreaming 4 Feb, 2020 @ 8:47pm
Yep, have them both. This problem also occurs with Kexx's new Sci-Fi bodysuit mod.
Derejin  [author] 4 Feb, 2020 @ 8:32pm
@Californiadreaming

I've not been receiving these issues with my latest arm mod, where because of complaints like this I added
'Invisible Parts For Hero Units'
and
'Empty WOTC Deco Slots for XCOM Soldiers (+ Some other empty things)'

as required mods.

Do y'all have those? I may just add them as requirements here if they work for y'all on this particular issue.
Californiadreaming 4 Feb, 2020 @ 7:07pm
Late to the party but the only solution to @panos Sigma's problem is the Unrestricted Customization mod, which I really don't want to use. You just need to add a "No arms" option that removes the arms entirely.
Derejin  [author] 22 Jun, 2019 @ 5:19am
@Panos Sigma

Thanks. When I feel up to it may scroll through the comments or Arkhangel's comments to see if I can find something resembling what he mentioned. It's been over a year since I touched this mod, so hopefully I can track down the problem then, but gonna likely be a bit.
Panos Sigma 22 Jun, 2019 @ 5:08am
@Derejin Not a modder myself to help you, but I'm glad that you take feedback like a grown up and you want to improve your work. You did a great job aesthetically with your mod. It's a shame that it isn't compatible with one of the official cosmetic dlc, for now. Hope you'll find a solution.
Derejin  [author] 22 Jun, 2019 @ 4:19am
@Panos Sigma

I'll make a note in the description in the interim.
Sorry about that, didn't know that was effecting everyone.
One person before reported issues with that DLC, but only one. Most error reports I've had, also, tend to be user error if that specific issue is only reported by one guy among literally thousands.
Doesn't mean it's always user error, but... yeah.
Recently got room to redownload the devkit, so maybe can get a fix in some time relatively soon.

If you know any solutions shoot 'em my way, as I don't know what causes that strange interaction with that DLC (Have it, but never really used/examined it).
Can't make any promises about being prompt. Gate was left open and my dog just went missing - been walking around the block looking for her during allergy season. And it's crunch week.
May be slow to update. :cozycastondeath:
Any tips on fixing that'd be great.
Panos Sigma 22 Jun, 2019 @ 3:51am
"Known Issues: Nothing major reported!" That's a lie. The mod FORCES itself to the Resistance Warrior Pack DLC armor sets (arms) and it causes major clippings. You can't remove them from these armor sets. Although you've mentioned this vaguely in your info, you should be more specific about it. Your mod basically breaks an official cosmetic dlc. No hate, I'm only posting this for others to see.

@Snipe
Glad you like it! Thanks for commenting!
Snipe 27 Nov, 2018 @ 4:19pm
Been using this mod for a long time time love it. Especially on my sniper. Thank you.
Arkhangel 15 Oct, 2018 @ 12:26am
@Dere: yeah, i've noticed it with a few cosmetic mods, due to something in their code, they override the stock look of an armor, and completely block out any other cosmetc, including the base ones. thusfar from what i've seen (and used) it's been the non-Halo Reach Halo mods, this one, Grim's Kevlar, and the MGS Charon Corps stuff. Addly for some reason it's JUST that, and not the Diamond Dogs stuff in the same mod. maybe there's a Quote missing or something that causes it.

oh, also the Sangheli halo stuff
Derejin  [author] 14 Oct, 2018 @ 7:57pm
@Arkhangel

Well, thank you for the tip. I don't even have the XCOM 2 Modding Tools installed at the moment, but if I get back into modding this (which may be likely, just not for awhile) it's something to consider. :)
Arkhangel 14 Oct, 2018 @ 12:54am
@derejin: not a dev's mistake, it's more likely a coding diff. odd thing is it happens with a few customization mods, but not all of 'em. probably a missing parentheses or line or something. would be fixed it it was just set to work on vanilla armors and hero armors, and nothing else (since you can't really modify the looks of any of the other armors anyways, since they're "torso-one-pieces")
Derejin  [author] 13 Oct, 2018 @ 6:26pm
@Arkhangel - Sorry you don't like it. At the moment been working on other stuff and don't even have XCOM 2 installed, so fixing an XCOM 2 dev's mistake no priority for me.

Have a good one. :)
Arkhangel 13 Oct, 2018 @ 12:51pm
@Derejin: because i also have the same complaint, which is making me unsub, since this and Grim Syle Armors broke my templar's customization.
Arkhangel 13 Oct, 2018 @ 12:50pm
@Derejin: I think CapRum meant having them NOT show up on armors that don't have options to swap.

just have them show up on Vanilla or Hero unit armor, not resistance, not AH, not TLP armor.
Derejin  [author] 14 Jun, 2018 @ 12:11am
@Snipe

Thank you!
Snipe 13 Jun, 2018 @ 11:34pm
Very nice mod.
Derejin  [author] 5 May, 2018 @ 10:39pm
@CapRum

Thanks - sorry, draggy at the moment.

And yes, we can blame official devs, since their arms in the different tiers (in vanilla, no less) don't match their other torsos. Technically speaking, you cannot match arms from Tier 1 to Tier 3 armor without missing shoulders, because apparently they didn't design a standard. :P

This said, sorry about not supporting that DLC, but not up to making versions of the arms for Resistance Warrior right now [if at all].

As for posting it, it was already covered in the Q&A section. ;)
CapRum 5 May, 2018 @ 10:36pm
@Derejin
I am talking about official DLC called Resistance Warrior Pack.
It adds a new armor- Resistance Kevlar Armor, which you can select in loadout. It doesn't include arms or legs only torso like you suggested.
I don't think we can blame official developers for these clippings but I undersand your point.
Just keep it in mind, maybe add it to mod description for other people to be aware of it.
Derejin  [author] 5 May, 2018 @ 10:14pm
@CapRum
First time I've heard of anyone having this issue: you sure it's not just your end?

If the armor you're talking about includes the arms on other pieces of the armor (for example: equipping a torso also equips arms), that would explain the clipping, and it's the fault of the other mod: not mine.

My mod only adds arm pieces, and the arms are not designed to overwrite torso/legs/head pieces and so forth.
CapRum 5 May, 2018 @ 10:08pm
It is a nice mod, but did you check its work with the Resistance Warrior Pack?
Jensen's arms from the mod pop up on every armor from that pack creating rather ugly clippings and making it impossible to play with the mod and the armor pack at the same time.
It looks like this .
It would be very nice to have a fix for this.
Smoker 12 Apr, 2018 @ 10:47pm
Nice. I wish someone would make an Adaaaaaaaam! head.

@ODSTbag337

Sometimes you just have to let go, and embrace what you've become.
ODSTbag337 22 Feb, 2018 @ 11:15am
Thanks for the awesome mod, but to quote the man whose arms these were based off of:

"I didn't ask for this."
Derejin  [author] 15 Jan, 2018 @ 6:22am
@Circle of Psi

For eyes: I don't think there are any mods for that yet, but there is for his glasses!
(these work in WOTC - I've tried them myself!)
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=723730813&searchtext=Adam+Jensen

For legs: not quite, but there is a similar mod that adds various prosthetic legs.
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1079953981&searchtext=Prosthetic

Just make sure you get the recommended mods when you download these, too.

I'm not up to modding more stuff here right now (got a job!), but I've linked some tutorials on my first mod page, if you want to look into making them yourself. :)
Munkee121 12 Jan, 2018 @ 8:53pm
Hello Derejin

No don't have the vanilla mod of this subscribed. Hmm some of them do have mod-added gear. I'll check with the soldiers I specifically want the Jensen prosthetics to see if they have mod added gear and remove. it. Thanks for the suggestions.
Derejin  [author] 12 Jan, 2018 @ 5:56pm
@Munkee121

First time I've of heard this issue.
Hopefully these help:

-Do you have the Vanilla mod subscribed to? If so, unsubscribe from it - even if it's unchecked in the launcher, it can still cause issues if two issues of the same mod are simultaneously subscribed.

-If that's not it, are your vanilla soldiers using mod-added gear (or something similar) that restricts customization options? Like some of the Halo armor, for example (some Halo mod torsos restricts arms).
Munkee121 12 Jan, 2018 @ 11:18am
I'm a little confused on how to access the other options for these prosthetics. Seems only my faction soldiers are getting the warden/kevlar/etc options. Is there something you need to select to get them to be available?
Greywolf 10 Jan, 2018 @ 3:53pm
@Derejin oh well like i said love the mod mate good luck with the job\

@「死の火」 Yamino Takamaru thanks i will
Kaldin 10 Jan, 2018 @ 8:56am
@17smita: There's another prosthetics mod, which does include legs. Through they look very different from these here. Just use the search-bar of the workshop, you should be able to find it.
Derejin  [author] 9 Jan, 2018 @ 10:55pm
@17smita

Glad you like it!

I recently got a job, so chances of me continuing work on this mod in the near future are unlikely, sorry. Hope you still enjoy it, though!
Greywolf 9 Jan, 2018 @ 10:03pm
can you do legs im really looking for a good prostetic mod so i can "show bad wounds" on my vets durring my lets play if not thats cool love the mod mate great work
CassandrasChaos 21 Dec, 2017 @ 11:35am
@Derejin Okay I just did some fiddling with it and discovered it does not work with the leather jacket but works with normal armour. My apologies about the small fuck up, it's working now.
Derejin  [author] 20 Dec, 2017 @ 7:52pm
@TrueAnty

I think I may need more details:

-Are you looking in the Left Arm and Right Arm categories? These aren't found in the both "Arms" category, but the individual categories.

-Did you enable it in the mod launcher?
If not, enable it.

-Do you have both the vanilla and WOTC versions subscribed to?
If so, unsubscribe from one of them. Subbing to both can cause very unusual issues, even if you don't have both enabled.

-What armor are you using on the character(s) who cannot use it?
It may be that you're using a modded suit of armor that restricts what can be equipped - either that, or it's a suit of armor from vanilla that I missed, in which case I'd really appreciate knowing.
CassandrasChaos 20 Dec, 2017 @ 6:24pm
The mod is not showing up in my customization despite having it downloaded? Help please?
Derejin  [author] 18 Dec, 2017 @ 9:54pm
@Hx.Velaryon & zonage

Glad you like it! :)
zonage 18 Dec, 2017 @ 9:53pm
I am truly thankful you took the time to make this mod, I've had an Adam Jensen expy in my character pool for a long time now and this mod completes the look.
Velar 17 Dec, 2017 @ 10:31am
Looks and works great!
Derejin  [author] 6 Dec, 2017 @ 10:34pm
@mynameactually

Glad you like it enough that you want legs to match!

Sorry, though - I do not think I can work on that, at least at the moment, as I recently got a job, and these mods helped me do that!

If I get some space I may start back working on stuff, though I'm not sure what I'd focus on. :)
mynameactually 6 Dec, 2017 @ 10:19pm
Think you can add legs as well? It would go good with that new mod by Musashi.
Rylien 11 Nov, 2017 @ 11:44am
Something I've just realized - those pointy police helmets kind of look like Purifier helmets if you look at them from a certain angle...
muzaazi 9 Nov, 2017 @ 3:52am
We never asked for this
Derejin  [author] 9 Nov, 2017 @ 1:59am
@hnq

Glad things are working now. I've received no reports that installing any of my mods messed with DefaultContent.ini, so it may've been an unrelated issue that caused your problem.

Regardless, enjoy!
hnq 8 Nov, 2017 @ 5:02pm
@Derejin Thank you for your answer. I've found out somehow installing this mod and restarting the game put the sign ';' on all of the arm options in the DefaultContent.ini file, thus rendering them unavailable, which is rather strange. I've already fixed that and all is fine now. This mod is great and can be made even greater after fixing such bugs. Anyways keep up the good work!
Derejin  [author] 8 Nov, 2017 @ 4:46pm
@Spart117MC

Thanks!
Spart117MC 8 Nov, 2017 @ 9:45am
Noice. It's good to see someone else working on arms.
Derejin  [author] 8 Nov, 2017 @ 6:15am
@hnq

I had no issues with the local version on my computer (should be identical to what I uploaded).
Nonetheless, I deleted the local version from the mod output folder and tried the subscribed version from the workshop.

I see no issues.

I've sent you a friend request - accept it and I can try to help you troubleshoot the issue.

My guess at the moment is that it is one of two things:
#1. The uncommon "WOTC Skeleton" glitch. Sometimes when loading up WOTC it won't load skeletons correctly and weirdness can ensue.
Restarting the game can fix this (unless it decides to fail that time, too. which'd be really rare).

#2. A startup file got messed up. This happened to me a few days ago (before updating this mod) and was solved by validating XCOM 2's files (game list, right click XCOM 2, hit Properties, go to Local Files, and hit Verify Integrity of Game Cache or some such)
Derejin  [author] 8 Nov, 2017 @ 6:05am
@hnq

Thanks for the comment. Will check - didn't see any issues when I uploaded.
