Too bad. It is a very cool mod, and needed in order to speed up air traffic...
Error Message says:
Construction configuration error
Terminals are not properly connected!
You would then have very scaleable options: single runway airport, normal two runways, modded 2-runways, 3-runways, mega hub.
Tried 6 gates per terminal but that did not seem to work well together with the bus stops (terminals not properly connected error) it still functions but I geuss the distance between bus stops and far gates gets to big.
The one runway airports are far too limiting to develop any meaningful air network until the multi-runway ones become available in 1980. Would be cool to be able to build a hub airport with DC-3s and DC-6s flying in and out of it...
Also, a SUPER-HUB airport with many runways and integrated train, tram, bus stations from 2010 onwards...
With the (hopefully soon-coming) performance upgrade, you can take a huge map and build a really meaningful and profitable plane network conneting all the cities through a few major hubs.
... I think the mod now is at an ideal stage. With the extra taxing nodes the takeoff runway has way more capacity than the two landing runways combined. Even if you stop an aircraft just before the takeoff run, and let the airport be filled up, it will still quickly let all planes take off and go back to normal operations.
By far the highest capacity airport now. Two of these, one opposite the other, make a super hub airport with huge route coverage.

Takeoffs queue still seems to be the bottleneck. If you could add 2-3 more nodes before the take off position... like the plane goes and lines up right behind the one that is taking off... that should help a lot.
Nevermind, aperently I undone the solution I made in V1.1 when I fixed the edge objects in V1.2. Just uploaded V1.3 which again should solve the problem with Sparky's Road mods.
Speed during taxiing; could it be faster to keep planes going etc?
- Some more taxing nodes need to be added after the landing runways/before the gates. Runways get too full too quickly, even if there is a lot of empty space in between.
- You need a few more nodes after the parking gates. Currently the whole airport gets full & stuck very quickly because planes have to stat still at the gates until the previous plane has taken off.
Few tweaks above would increase capacity and efficiency, and make full use of this great design.
@Dirkets, as soon as you fix the runway issue and it's the next beta update I'll subscribe to this mod.
