@Pat Lewinsky And welcome to Cities Skylines ^^

@Pat Lewinski No problem :) There are so many limitations in the editor - it hurts! I am currently trying to find some "quality of life" mods and tips to make my life easier.

Anyway.. if you hear anything/read anything/have any other requests/critique, please let me know. I am trying to learn.

anyway, kudos to you for implementing the "needed objects" now :steamhappy:

I would have to try, I just started with this game (yes, apparently I have lived under a rock) and, although I tried the asset creator, I never uploaded anything so far.

I would have assumed exactly what you are saying, that it adds this automatically instead of expecting you to manually select the required item and I agree this would be a pain, especially when you create more complex things with a lot of custom stuff in them.

Now, I can't do it right now but I am sure it's worth searching through the discussions because I am 100% sure this whole subject has come up before, since it is so essential.

@Pat Lewinski Do you have any tips on how to do this efficiently? It is really time consuming to note every item i have been using, especially because i usually go with the flow, so I delete, add, delete, add, redo, turn assets etc. over and over again.

I can see that i can "Add/Remove Required Items" to my created assets, but this is not done automatically.

About the "statistics", I will try and incoorporate those in my future creations :)

Fiddled through it for now, I suggest you do that for us next time. It would be a shame if you did such nice creations and nobody else would be able to look at them in game.

Statistics: Again, I probably wasn't quite clear enough. I meant basic info like cost, range and, in this case, entertainment value.

I probably did not phrase that correctly: I absolutely don't mind you using props but we need to know that in order to be able to subscribe to those props, too. Otherwise your beautiful little park just stays a plain piece of land.

I believe when you upload your asset, you are given the opportunity to specify all assets needed to run it as shown, so when I click on the "subscribe" button, a window opens up informing me what I need and giving me the opportunity to subscribe to those other assets before.

Right now, the only way to know the missing props is an error message in the loading screen mod, so you just might want to consider adding the links to those props to your park's description.

I attach a screenshot so you see what I mean and what the six props are.

@Pat Lewinski Sadly the amount of assets already provided in this game is very sparse. So i have to use a few probs from workshop to keep it interesting.

What statistics do you have in mind? I mean.. what do you mean by "what is affected"?

Maine's Own 5 Nov, 2017 @ 5:19pm
it misses 6 props to work correctly. Unless those are subscribed to, you can't use this park.

Looks *really* sweet.
It would be helpful if you indicated a few statistics as well, as in, what is affected etc..
But I love the size, I will try this.
