I encountered an error rather quickly sadly, the 2nd portal crashes and gives me this error "scripts/misc/warpPortal.txt (277, 34) : If with empty statement"

Any possibility of this getting updated for KEX4? Its no longer working and is the greatest piece of downloadable content for this game. If not i can probably just downgrade my games version but figured id ask.

By far the best expansion mod I've played, really expands the lost lands more and is great if you wish Turok had DLC as it feels way bigger than the actual game.

I love the game, but are the jumps supposed tp be brutally hard? I'm great at platforming and some of these jumps were intense. Is there a talisman im missing early on that increases the jump distance?

I completed my Let's Play of this mod and I managed to find more secrets than someone else's Adon run. I found everything. All the sacred feathers, all talismans, all icons of power with Chronoscepter upgrade, all mortal wounds, and lastly, the Rage Wars secret and Freeze gun.

There's supposed to be a cutscene where Thunder chases you down after you leave the temple containing the rope arrow. For some reason, it didn't happen on my recent playthrough so I just went about the game normally doing some backtracking.

Worth noting (should be added to description):
This mod features it own soundtrack - but it only works if you select N64 soundtrack. I had it on the default PC and was playing a very long time with the default lvl1 music before I realized this. I bet many players have played thru and beat the whole thing not realizing it has fun alternate music.

Aside from some caveats(some segments being easy to get lost in, lack of ammo in some places) this is an absolutely stellar mod that has a lot of stuff that wouldn't of at all been out of place in the original game. I'm a big fan.

genuinely one of the best "mods" around! I'd even go so far as to call it an *expansion*.

The updated weapons and mechanics were fresh and the level design was superb for solo development.

I loved the little easter eggs and influences for your map. Don't think someone wouldn't have noticed the star fox adventures staff upgrade room for the ice gun, as well as part of the suns song for the "flute" ;P

Great mod. Does feel like a brand new campaign, I hope you complete this. Only issue I have so far is the game crashes if I die at the longhunter bossfight (2nd part).

Absolutely loved this. Please tell me you'll complete it.

I noticed the graphics and detail fading away and I'm like this better not be the end!
I loved the challenge and amounts of enemies, it wasn't ridiculously hard but I did die a few times.

I was surprised there was no footage of anyone playing as Adon on YouTube so I played as Adon for the walkthrough.

It is an awesome campaign! I hope you will keep working on it! I really like the custom hidden collectibles and upgrades. I also really like the ability to unlock and play as Adon. Excellent job and I hope we see more!

When I first played this months ago, it was pretty amazing. Then this summer, I played it again. I know it's still WIP, but it was enjoyable. Can't wait to see more updates of this.

Thx, I didn't realized that I already had the flute. I made it through the game. It's very nice. i tried a second run with adon. But now I#m stuck in the egyptian temple, after the bossfight. After the fight I was transported to the Chamber with the freezegun. But so it wasn't there anymore, there was no trigger left foir warping out of this chamber. Do you have any solution for this? Thx a lot. And another Question. What are the feathers for?

Hi, where is the entry to the mountain of the sun level. Just finished the Level with the three-phased Hunter Boss. In the primal valley, there is a way which is still blocked by three columns, but I failed to find a trigger to pull them down. Thx for help. Best Regards

You can play all the way to the end of the game. Climb the pipes to the right or left of the forcefield. I put life forces to guide you but next time I'll put the purple life forces so it's a different color from the pipes. Ignore the sector 1 area, I'll remove that.

Yeah I just stopped in that same area with the inaccessible "sector 1", a sector 6 with a forcefield, a second pad where some wind apparently blows, and just like the egypt-esque area before it, it seemed super unfinished. Is there more stuff after that that's more like the first areas? The beginning was utterly fantastic, the trial by fire, the initial jungle area, all of it. Had so much fun yesterday but apparently stopped right when things started falling apart (at the square water donut area, which seemed to be the last complete one).

It's the other way around actually, good to know I need a flute :) Will just keep searching then, I was just wondering if I have to acess the sector 1 buling that has no entrance. Thanks for the fast fix btw, and I really like the pyramid dungeon

If you're able to play the game before the 2.0 patch then yes you can find the BP_MOTS.kpf in your steam workshop folder and copy that into the mods folder in the Turok game folder. (create a mods folder if it doesn't exist) You can also download the BP_MOTS.kpf file from the link above intended for GOG users. Again I'll try to get it playable sometime in the following weeks.

It would, this mod as great. Maybe there is at least a way to get this working with an older version of Turok? I got the old files here and can start the old patches main game, can you open the mod loader on those files maybe? Or replace the main files with the modded ones?

Wow, bizarre to hear. I guess considering how many really obvious bugs the Turok 2 release initially had (and how it still has some that have been mentioned for years), it's hard to be surprised at Nightdive's technical screwups. I would say best of luck adapting your mod but it sounds actually impossible now. You should at least badger the devs about these things - from the screenshots and trailer it looks like it would be a shame to let this mod die.

Mostly shader related. Some built in shaders don't work correctly anymore that I use. The lava water just keeps blinking black to red even though I use the built in "world" shader that comes with the game. There's no more framebuffer or depthbuffer textures that I can use for shaders. So no more custom UI, custom screen effects, and my custom ranged fog (that all hurts). Water reflections are just really wrong now for some reason - only for my maps. Another big thing is enemies can sometimes see through walls and shoot through walls now. This also effects the script function that performs a raycast so it's unreliable now. The enemies have been mentioned on the bug thread by someone else too but seems to have been ignored (I hope that one gets fixed).
